I recently had the opportunity to work with the McCafferty Real Estate Team. My home sold for $455,000.00 over asking, and everyone wanted to know how. It was very simple. I followed all the directions of Amy and her team. I began the process feeling intimidated by the daunting task of prepping and moving my entire home right after the Christmas holidays by myself. Amy came in and not only proposed her ideas, but she completed each sentence by saying, ‘I’ll take care of that’ leaving me with just the task to move myself. She facilitated everything from inspections and repairs to staging. When it came to closing the sale, she and Eric worked closely with me to ensure I understood the terms of the sale. Escrow was equally smooth which was essential because the house closed in under a month. I have bought and sold several homes over the last 30 years, and this was the easiest sale by far. We know how to buy a home. We know how to refinance. What we didn’t know was how to sell our home of 27 years. When we decided to sell our home in Berryessa, we spoke with numerous realtors, but ultimately decided to go with the McCafferty Team, as they were highly recommended to us by a close family friend. We set up an appointment to meet the McCafferty Team in our home. When the team arrived, we had a meeting at our dining room table. Amy and Eric laid out their plans already printed in a bound book with a picture of our home on the front. They explained how the team works together and their strategy for making our home more marketable. They toured our home and property and afterwards showed us everything they intended to do, in detail, to make our home far more attractive to potential buyers, if we decided to go with their team. My wife and I enthusiastically decided that Team McCafferty would be our real estate agents. Amy is a highly experienced and seasoned real estate agent, known for always being on top of her listings. The team created and followed a detailed calendar with trusted vendors, including home improvements, cleaning, staging, photos and videos, and finally listing and open house showings. It took the month of February 2025, for all the various McCafferty Team recommended vendors to improve our home, including a new kitchen, lighting, new flooring throughout, removed “popcorn” ceilings, and repaint all interior rooms. Our home went on the market on March 3rd and sold one week later well above our asking price. When we are ready to buy a new home, the McCafferty Team will be the people we turn to! Amy and Eric were the absolute best team to work with in selling my home which I designed and built 25 years ago. They were both sensitive to my emotional attachment to the home and eased me through the process. The house sold in 2 days with multiple offers over asking price! We are absolutely delighted with the service from the Amy McCafferty Team in selling our home. With our family moving overseas, we handed them the keys the day we left, and they handled every detail through closing including handing the mail, removal of yard waste, co-ordinating the landscaping and disposal of some furniture. The team also provided regular updates throughout the preparation process, and their recommended vendors did quality work at a reasonable cost. Marketing showcased the best aspects of our home and brought in plenty of buyers. Homes in our area rarely sell quickly at list price, but they made it happen.
