At the recommendation of a long-time friend who is a long-time client of Matt’s, we turned to him for the sale of a family member’s house. It’s the first house we’ve ever sold, so finding an agent we could trust was very important. He patiently walked us through the sometimes-complex processes, expectations, and potential complications both logistical and financial. We worked together with him and his team to repair, renovate, and stage the home and landscaping to make the best impression and gain the best sale price. He advised us very accurately and led us to an extremely satisfying outcome. He’s a down-to-earth, very friendly and supportive family guy, and knows the real estate business inside and out. We made a great choice.

Working with Matt was such a great experience. He helped sell my home in Pasadena and the house had some weird stuff we discovered through the process, but he continued to work really hard to find the right people for it and never gave up. He was a great partner the whole time, really communicative and always willing to put in the extra mile, and always getting new people interested in the house. I'd recommended him to anyone, and I'd work with him again in a second. Thank you so much Matt!

Matt Helganz is extremely professional, knowledgeable and competent. Matt's handle on the ins and outs of real estate and the multitude of minute details that need to be tied up is amazing. Matt is truly the best! As first-time home buyers, my husband and I were looking for an agent we could trust to find us the best property for our budget, communicate honestly and quickly, and confidently guide us through this process- Matt completely exceeded our expectations. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and highly regarded in our community. We absolutely love Pasadena and didn't want to live anywhere else, and Matt's deep knowledge of the area and respect for our vision made it happen. 2024 was not the easiest year to buy a house, but Matt continued to provide us with realistic expectations and opportunities and we were able to find our perfect home in our dream location. Matt was an absolute pleasure to work with. My wife and I were first time homebuyers, and he was eternally patient and excited to share his knowledge and expertise with us. Throughout the process he was prompt and respectful, kept us on top of the latest listings, and was willing to go anywhere in the LA area to look at properties with us. He struck the perfect balance between realistic and hopeful, kept us on track when the going got tough, and ultimately found the place that we now call home.
