Do not trust Laxmi if you want to buy or sell your home. According to her, “it’s all about volume”, which tells you where her interests lie. When we were selling our home in San Jose, and we got a couple of offers, she convinced us to go with one with inspection contingency. As first time sellers, we fully trusted Laxmi and agreed. Nearing closing, the buyer’s agent started strong arming us saying he’ll use the inspection contingency and drop out unless we pay $10000 back to them. The home was already selling low compared to the comps around. We lost at least 200k because of Laxmi. Moreover, the contractor and handymen she referred us to charged a lot and I’m pretty sure she gets cutbacks. I would absolutely not trust her to help buy or sell a home.
