My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Simran when we went to purchase our first home this year. We were understandably daunted by the process but we quickly realized we were in knowledgeable and very helpful hands with Simran. She answered our many, many questions with confidence and experience, making us feel so at ease when searching. We really tested her skills here; we searched across 6+ towns, saw 40+ houses and offered on more than a few. When things got discouraging and felt like an uphill battle after multiple declined offers Simran let us know she was not giving up and neither should we. She buckled down and became even more determined to find us our dream home. She spent many an early morning and late weekend nights scheduling showings, sorting logistics, running numbers, and figuring out what was best for us in each unique situation. And she did it all while dispensing invaluable advice we will carry forever. After 3 months of searching we finally found our dream house. We couldn't be happier in our beautiful new home and we have Simran to thank! We cannot stress enough how present and supportive she was the entire time and we are so grateful! I'm writing to warn others about extremely unprofessional solicitation practices from agent Simran Dua. Without any request or indication from us that we were interested in selling our home, this agent: - Obtained our personal phone number through unknown means - LIED about getting our number from "neighbor Monica" - we don't know anyone by that name - Sent unsolicited messages assuming we wanted to sell our property (we had previously listed and removed it from market) - Contacted multiple family members, causing unnecessary panic and confusion - Made presumptuous statements about our "gorgeous home" and fabricated claims of neighbor recommendations This type of aggressive, invasive marketing is exactly what gives real estate agents a bad reputation. Professional agents should never cold-contact homeowners using numbers obtained without permission, and certainly shouldn't involve family members in unsolicited sales pitches. We have no interest in working with someone who demonstrates such poor judgment and boundary violations in their initial outreach. I question what other corners might be cut in an actual real estate transaction. Buyers and sellers deserve agents who respect privacy and operate with basic professionalism.
