I was connected with Mary through Zillow and worked with her for approximately five months on two properties. Unfortunately, neither transaction moved forward. While Mary appears knowledgeable about the market and has a capable team, my direct experience working with her was disappointing, particularly as a first-time homebuyer. During the second property, I chose not to proceed with closing due to unresolved sewer lateral issues. Rather than helping outline options or advocate for my position, I was told the seller could potentially pursue legal action, which was concerning based on my understanding of the contract. Within a couple of days of her statement, Mary forwarded a letter from the seller’s attorney and asked me to confirm receipt. After that, communication ceased. I retained my own attorney, and after approximately two months, the matter was resolved and my earnest money was returned. Throughout this process, I received no follow-up or support from Mary and felt left to navigate the situation on my own. Based on my experience, the level of support appeared to diminish once it became clear the transaction might not close, which made me feel that closing the deal was being prioritized over buyer advocacy. I expected advocacy, communication, and empathy, especially when complications arose, and those expectations were not met.

Working with Mary was truly a great experience. Her knowledge of the market, her communication and her negotiation skills were outstanding. She was well connected with a wide variety of contractors that were crucial for both the selling and the buying process. I highly recommend her. The best realtor I have worked with.

I have worked with Mary on two home purchases now and both times she has shown me why a good realtor is so important. She knows how to close a deal and fast! Before an offer is accepted she is engaging with third party companies necessary for the negotiations. Her connections are crucial for fast closing timelines which also gives you a stronger offer in hot markets. I would highly recommend Mary for home buyers wanting someone in their corner during such a stressful transaction.

Despite the 5 star zillow rating for this agent, I had a very frustrating experience talking with Mary on the phone and I would not personally work with her as a realtor. She called me shortly after I pressed the "schedule an appointment" button on zillow to look at a house I was interested in. I assumed the whole process of booking a viewing appointment would be straightforward but I was wrong! Mary was quite unpleasant to me on the phone. She was not respectful of my time when I told her I simply didn't have much time to fill out forms and contractual agreements with her before viewing the house. I felt that she's in the realty business purely for money and is not the sort of person I'd want to work with. She certainly didn't earn my trust by taking such an angry and pushy tone with me. Yuck.

Mary's credentials and reviews made selecting her as our realtor easy. She knew our neighborhood, had excellent marketing skills, was a great communicator, and understood what we needed to make the sale go quickly. Mary listed our home at a fair market price, which resulted in selling within our time frame. I highly recommend Mary and her team because she is a highly experienced agent who will make selling your home easy!
