John is the best! He has helped us purchase 2 properties in Cambridge/Somerville, and we've been incredibly happy with his knowledge of the area and the market, as well as his approach to the process. John is accessible and helpful, and was endlessly patient as we struggled to decide what we wanted as first time home buyers. Ultimately he found us our current home and I think he knew it was perfect for us before we did! When we decided to start looking at investment properties, John shared his personal experience and insight to help us find and purchase a home and even learn the basics of becoming landlords. John also helped my parents find their retirement home in Cambridge, navigating their long list of must-haves to be able to age in place. Along the way, John has become a trusted advisor, as he continues to be a resource when we have any questions related to real estate. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a home in the area!

It was a pleasure working with John! As first time homebuyers, John closely guided us through the process and made our experience as smooth as possible. He always made himself available through email/text/phone for any questions or concerns we had. John also recommended a great mortgage lender and title attorney within his network that were also easy to work with. John was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process and I highly recommend working with him!

My wife and I are huge fans of John. It took us about a year of looking in Cambridge before we found something we really liked and felt the price point was good. John was super patient and never pressured us. It was still a battle because there were so many competing offers. John came up with a way to structure our offer that fit exactly what the sellers were looking for and we got the condo. More recently he helped us buy a condo for our daughter also in Cambridge. He was very helpful as there were some issues after the inspection. Again, he never pressured us but gave us very sound advice. He's got great experience as a broker but also from being a landlord himself. We continue to pick his brain and he's always open to that. I never thought I'd say this about a broker, but I completely trust this guy! He earned it.

John has worked with us since 2008 and we would highly recommend him to anyone. He helped us purchase our first home. Eight years later, he was our agent for selling that home and buying our second. His advice, guidance, and expertise could not have been more valuable to us. We love his honesty and his directness. We've referred John to friends of ours and they've loved him too. If we decide to sell our house again, we'll be calling John.

John quickly figured out where we might want to look, what type of condo would suit our purposes, and gave us very targeted suggestions. When it came time for negotiation, he was spot on with his suggestions, and when it came to renovate, he was a great help there too. We are very appreciative of John's work with us.
