We had been looking for a home in the Upper Birds since 2018, and had talked to Valerie several times about her secret "pocket listings." She visited our home in Mesa Verde and gave us expert advice on what to do to make our home more saleable. She also asked many detailed questions on what we were looking for in a home. I was skeptical that we would have a chance at anything with the hot market in 2021. In August of 2021, she found us the perfect property with everything we were looking for and it was one of her pocket listings! Not only was it priced right, but she personally helped us stage our house, and with the help of Ryan Knapp, helped secure a buyer for $100,000 over asking! Selling and buying a house at the same time is not a stress free situation, but Ryan Knapp and Valerie Torelli stepped it up in every way to help make the transaction as easy as possible. Valerie Torelli ROCKS! I recently interviewed several real estate agents to sell a house for me in Costa Mesa. Her professionalism and, more importantly to me, integrity shined far above the other agents I spoke with. As the process evolved , it was clear to me that she cared just as much about all the people involved as closing the deal. I had a tenant that she spent much time and energy helping to re-locate, which was above and beyond the scope of her job. She was successful and showed me that she cared not just about making the sale, but compassion towards another human. There were a few other obstacles that she had to overcome to in order to present the house which she dealt with in a very efficient manner. The bottom line was she was able to sell the house surprisingly quickly and at a much higher price than I thought possible. On a scale of 1-10, she earned 1000. I told my brother, who was a realtor , about my experience with Valerie. His response was “ You Scored! Most agents are wannabes, but she is that rare agent that really knows how to conduct a transaction effectively on all levels.” Valeries lives up to every word of her motto: “Live in such a way that if someone spoke badly of you, no one would believe it.” I wish more people had her integrity. My experience can be summed up in 5 words; “She hit a Grand Slam!” Thank you Valerie!

Valerie was wonderful to work with. Knowledgeable, experienced, passionate about her work, full of great ideas about how to sell a property more easily, and on what it's worth spending money on to get a better price. I could tell she was personally committed to the marketing and selling of our house. She responded quickly to all questions, and has great resources for home improvements.
