Selling our family home on Newport Island after ten years was a big emotional step, and as a first-time seller, I expected it to be overwhelming. Working with the Nicolai Glazer team—Nicolai, Shannon, Amelie, and Nicole—made the entire experience not just manageable, but shockingly smooth. I can’t imagine having done it with anyone else. We had actually worked with two agents before landing on Nicolai, both of whom were kind and professional, but from the beginning, it was clear Nicolai had something different. He knew the Newport Island market inside and out—down to the nuances of individual streets—and had been respectfully keeping in touch with us even before we officially signed with him. Once we did, it was all hands on deck. I barely had to lift a finger. They took care of everything—staging, light repairs, coordinating improvements, managing the entire listing process, and even solving issues that came up with the City of Newport Beach (which, as anyone who’s dealt with the city knows, can be a headache). The property also had a private boat slip, and there were extra layers of complexity because of that. But they handled it all. One of the greatest signs of trust and confidence was when Nicolai personally fronted some of the costs to improve the home before we went to market. He was that sure of the neighborhood and the value of the property. We settled up later, but that kind of commitment is rare and really meant a lot. You get the sense that he treats your home like it’s his own investment, and that’s not something you can fake. Despite how busy I knew they were, it always felt like we were their only clients. Communication was quick, clear, and never made me feel rushed. Whether it was a question about paperwork or feedback from a showing, someone from the team was there to handle it or walk me through it. Shannon made the administrative side of the deal effortless, and Amelie helped make sure the home showed its best. Every step was thoughtful, efficient, and geared toward the best outcome. Even my close friend—who works in commercial real estate and is used to a different kind of deal—was impressed. He said he rarely sees that level of professionalism and care in residential real estate (“realtor bedside manner,” if you will). That stuck with me. Because that’s exactly what Nicolai and his team bring: deep market knowledge, constant communication, and genuine care for their clients. In the end, the sale exceeded my expectations. We got a great buyer and a clean, timely closing. I walked away from the process wondering why I’d been so stressed in the first place. That’s entirely due to this team. They took something high-stakes and emotional and turned it into a process that felt safe, clear, and even exciting. I’m incredibly grateful to Nicolai, Shannon, Amelie, and Nicole for the way they handled this sale. I would work with them again in a heartbeat—and I’ll be recommending them to anyone looking to buy or sell in Newport Beach. Bottom line: Five stars isn’t enough. This team is outstanding in every way, and they truly made me feel like their most important client throughout the entire process. They earned every bit of our gratitude and then some.

Nicolai and his team are absolutely amazing. We were relocating from Indiana and he really educated us about the area. We found the perfect house for us. He and his team made the offer process so easy and they were in constant communication until closing. Even now, they’ve provided us with contacts for local repair people, painters, etc. It’s been a fantastic experience!

We can't say enough great things about Nicolai, Shannon and their team of professionals. If anyone asked us "who would you recommend for buying or selling your home?" The immediate answer would be Nicolai Glazer! From the start, he and his team were there to facilitate all aspects of selling my home. A team was sent in to take care of issues that needed to be addressed and generally spruce up the home for potential buyers. The aid we got walking through the paperwork was amazing! Most people just don't know the rules, regulations and legal details of selling a home in California, but they were there explaining each question we had and more! They also went far and beyond by taking care of minutia that was required and we did not need to be involved. Again we are so impressed with Nicolai Glazer and his team!
