Working with Maria Skeels is an absolute dream. She's outgoing, funny, and incredibly smart—truly someone who makes the whole process feel easy and even enjoyable, a thrilling adventure of discovery! (And in this market, that's saying a lot!) No one understands Los Angeles like she does; she knows the details of every neighborhood that matter when choosing a home. And she'll probably be able to introduce you to people living there too! What makes Maria special is how trustworthy she is. She's a straight shooter in the best possible way—honest, clear, and never pushy. Add her boundless charm, humor and genuine concern, and you have someone who is not just an outstanding agent but an amazing person to have on your side. We haven't landed our dream home with Maria just yet, but it's just a matter of time. In the meantime, I'm encouraging my parents to work with her when they relocate to the area. She stayed in constant communication, truly advocated for our family, and supported us through every emotional high and low. We even joked she became our therapist through the rollercoaster of home-buying. When we closed on our new home, she genuinely celebrated this milestone with us. While searching for my next place to call home I connected with Tyler who represents several local properties. Tyler understood my interests and financial objectives. He was able to offer comparative locations as a consideration in my search along with letting me know there are some off-market properties that may be worth exploring; should I be interested to pursue those. Each property I toured and expressed interest, Tyler was able to send over comparables that same day (or evening) in order for me to fully understand the value and to help make an informative decision. There were 2 properties we entered escrow in. The first I was queued as the owner had already entered escrow. While waiting, Tyler did not stop researching/suggesting locations unless I expressed a pause. I decided to open up my range by expanding the purchasing price ceiling which allowed me to purvue properties previously filtered out. I found one which checked off all my critical boxes and even had features I had not considered as paramount for a sale, but added sweetness to the deal. We entered a short term escrow and Tyler was communicative timely each step of the way. There was no hesitation to our momentum as we swiftly went through the natural steps of escrow engagement. Tyler demonstrated a calm and informative understanding of the market, the negotiation dance as well as provide necessary information in order for me to make an informed decision. I would highly recommend Tyler to anyone who is about to begin their next search for a home in the area.
