Over the past few months, our family has been working with Rachel Wester from Acquisto Real Estate for the purchase of our new home and the sale of our old home. Not having been through a real estate transaction in 20+ years, starting this journey came with a lot of nerves and anxiety. We needed to upgrade from our 3/2 home to a 4/3 or 4/4 home in Plano, Texas. We needed to find a good deal on our perfect new home, and then we needed to sell our other home for a good price. And both of those events needed to happen in a relatively short time window. After connecting and working with Rachel, this process was surprisingly smooth and the outcomes for both transactions exceeded our expectations. In Rachel, we had a trusted advisor and partner who listened to our concerns and helped to address them one by one. She was able to help us close both transactions with almost all our objectives being met and, in the timeline we needed them completed. Looking back on this experience with Rachel, there are 3 big takeaways we thought worth sharing about our experience. First, Rachel operates with ironclad integrity. She never sugarcoated any challenge we ran into; she never hid anything from us. Always gave an honest assessment whether good news or not so good news. Then she worked with us in true collaboration to plot an acceptable way forward. No pressure, no hard closing. Just an honest trusted partner working on the exact same page with our family to help us achieve OUR goals. Second, Rachel knows the real estate business. The one advice I’d give to anyone working with Rachel after sharing your goals and objectives with her is to LISTEN to her. She knows what she’s doing. We are not in real estate. And the best thing we did as her client was listen to her. It was a very collaborative experience; she listened to us as well... But I can’t stress enough to listen to Rachel and use her expertise and judgement to your benefit. For both transactions, she absolutely nailed the pricing and strategy, whether it was insisting on staging (huge differentiator) for the sale of our home, or setting a perfect market price that got us what we wanted for our house in the time we wanted it done, or helping us properly bid on the house we bought to get the best deal and most likely outcome to win the bid. In ALL these instances, Rachel was keenly aware of the market, the inventory, the geographic location, the timing and the marketing work that needed to be done (for the sale of our home), and she came up with absolute home runs on both the purchase and sale of our homes in a tough market. The final takeaway is Rachel’s professionalism. This kind of lumps in with integrity, but it’s more about her availability and the way she runs her business. Her respect for our time and her level setting and checkpoints with us; her proactive communication; and the education she gave our family on how the real estate market works so we had proper expectations and information to make informed decisions were crucial to our successful experience. We had full confidence that she was on top of her business on our behalf. And the outcomes for us proved that out to be true. We can’t recommend Rachel strongly enough to anyone looking to buy or sell their home. She deeply cares about delivering and helping people make the best decisions for one of the biggest decisions of their life. What can I say about Rachel besides what a rock star! I connected with Rachel on NextDoor when she reached out to answer a question I’d posted. We chatted and hit it off so I turned to her when listing my home. I’ve bought and sold a few homes in my day but the process with Rachel and Acquisto Real Estate was by far the smoothest and least stressful experience ever. She coordinated the stagers and photographers turning my home into a beautiful space. Her recommendations about pricing were spot on and I had an early offer that sailed through closing. Stacey who works with Rachel was incredibly helpful and efficient. Rachel even referred me to a roofer, Joseph Miller of Impression Roofing who worked with my insurance company to quickly redo my roof prior to closing. Rachel is a wealth of information, extremely responsive and knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. I can’t recommend her highly enough!
