With over 25 years experience in real estate as a lender, buyer and seller, I can say Laurie is an exceptional resource. I had to sell a Sebastopol home while living out of state. She aggressively took the project, managed all the pre-sale inspections, repairs and upgrades to make it market ready. Her sales material provided any buyer accurate pricing of similar property and helped obtain a high appraisal and top sale price. The transaction was fast smooth and required little direction from me. I wish I could replicate her elsewhere.

I don’t often write reviews, and when I have, they were at the service provider’s request, not so with Laurie Parris. My experience with her has made such a positive impact on my life that I want others to know if they choose to work with her, they will sleep well at night, confident they made the right decision. Last year Laurie helped my ex husband and I sell our home we had spent 12 years renovating. We did our homework, conducted interviews, and chose Laurie to market our home and attract the offers we needed. We expected a professional, but experienced much more. Laurie managed the entire process with style and grace. She earned our trust and has helped both of us find other properties. Over the last few months Laurie has patiently helped me navigate unfamiliar territory. I have considered living out of state, moving within the county, changing employment, buying, renting, and building. As complicated as the decisions have been, I have never felt alone. Laurie has been available, informative and reassuring. Laurie has many qualities that make her an extraordinary realtor and person. She has character...balanced with many qualities. She can be practical but creative, unassuming but confident, flexible but focused, ambitious but unobtrusive. This month I will be moving onto property Laurie helped me secure. As a full time, working Realtor in Silicon Valley, my expectations were extreme. Laurie Parris performed beyond my wildest dream. Knowing the importance of having local expertise in a transaction, I chose not to list the property myself. And not knowing any Realtors in the area forced me to interview numerous agents and brokerages before deciding on Laurie Parris. Beginning with our initial conversation, Laurie was professional, yet approachable. She was extremely knowledgable, yet unassuming. Deciding to list with Laurie Parris was a great decision....then came the actual selling process. We encountered many unique and challenging aspects of selling real estate in this transaction. The process started with Trust and Trustee issues and also included easement and septic issues plus many other unexpected roadblocks. These issues were daunting even to someone like myself that has handled hundreds of real estate transactions, but Laurie was a calm problem solver that took on all the challenges and made everything work. I am certain that Laurie Parris helped get the maximum price in the shortest time. She accomplished this through her unparalleled hard work and commitment to me as her client. She couldn't have been nicer and her customer service was top notch, but the reality of the situation is that results are what is needed. Laurie helped me and my three brothers sell my Dad's home after he died. This being an estate sale with four heirs, there was much emotion going on at the time. Laurie very knowledgeably helped us through the process. She was kind and sensitive to all of our needs. The house needed a fair amount of work, and she helped us decide what to do, who should do it, and in what order. I can't even imagine going through this process with someone else after seeing Laurie navigate everything that had to be done. I was very impressed with how quickly she was able to answer questions and find answers for us. She met with all of us numerous times. All of us were impressed with her professionalism and knowledge of the community and the housing market. The house sold very quickly, and I think we owe that to Laurie.

Based on a recommendation from our contractor, we chose Laurie to handle the sale of our house. She is a professional in every sense. Always quick to respond to our concerns, explaining the process, and, especially important, took measures to see that we had backup offers. And that backup offer proved valuable when the original offer fell through. She went beyond what one would normally expect - checking for things we thought we had left behind in our move. Highly recommend her to handle any real estate transaction.
