John did a remarkable job on the sale of our custom waterfront home on Lake Anna. There are many agent options to choose from and we talked with a lot of them. For us, John exemplified honesty, integrity, and a wealth of knowledge, but he also listened to our story, consumed himself with the history of our home, and laid out a detailed strategy that was impressive. Great communication, organization, & execution all the way around! We will use John again and I recommend anyone buying or selling give him a call immediately.

The Berger Team, John and his wife Lisa did an absolutely amazing job in selling our home. The communicated constantly with us throughout the entire process in a proactive manner. John and Lisa were very professional, up-front, and honest with very high integrity and they knew our area in great detail. We had a unique situation to work through and John came up with a very clever way to handle it. Our home was put up as "Coming Soon" and we immediately had an offer that resulted in a contract which we accepted and closed on. The home quickly sold without ever actually getting listed or shown! Our contract had several contingencies which John and Lisa worked with the buyer to quickly clear and we closed 21 days ahead of our planned closing date in the original contract. If you're looking to buy or sell (or both) a home in the Lake Anna area of Virginia, I unequivocally would recommend using John and Lisa Berger. As an added benefit, they are a full service broker that operates below customary commission rates.

If you're looking for the best then look no further! John and the Berger Team are hands down the most knowledgeable, responsive and thoughtful real estate leaders that I've had the opportunity to work with.
