Chasiti walked me through the process with knowledge and with an understanding about the end goal. I really appreciated her patience and professionalism. For example she explained exactly what we could expect as far as the sale price. She also worked creatively to find different ways to advertise and present my condo.

Hiring Deeana was one of the biggest regrets my family did this past year. We gave her a chance because initially we believed in her skills to sell the home quickly, and wanted to support a black owned business. THAT DECISION TURNED OUT TO BE A DISASTER. Under Deeana, deals fell through because of her lack of professionalism, she disrespected and cussed out members of my family, and buyer agents, all while we our mother was terminally ill. She made this process the worst experience we could ever imagine. She locked us in a terrible contract which we couldn’t get out of, and held us hostage to sell our own house. It took her nearly 10 months to sell the home, and the reason why it sold is because we had to hire additional help to manage her process. If you are a potential client, I highly advise that you look the other direction and find a more professional realtor that cares about their clients.

We couldn't be happier with our first home purchase, thanks in large part to Deeana Owens. From the very get go, Deeana was very professional and helpful in explaining each stage of the process. She suggested properties that met our needs and budget, got additional info on properties that we took an interest in, and helped us think through the many considerations and tradeoffs. Her knowledge of Oakland's neighborhoods was particularly valuable as we had to expand our search radius to areas we weren't familiar with. When it came time to making an offer, she was extremely efficient getting the paperwork together and communicating with the seller's agent. We would definitely do it again, and highly recommend Deeana to anyone looking to buy a home in the easy bay.

Deeana made the home buying process easy. She was thorough with her explanations and gave great advice when it came time for negotiations. She was also extremely easy to get a hold of, always just a phone call or text away. I felt very confident in her ability to get me the house that I wanted and she did just that.

Deeana was so helpful, engaging, and professional throughout the whole process. She's extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and friendly, and was a great asset to us as first-time homebuyers. She met with us several times outside of our work hours to give us private tours of homes we were interested in, and was extremely flexible and accommodating of our requests. She informed us of new listings that best matched our criteria, and we in turn could also bring other listings we were interested in to her attention, and she would incorporate those into our plans to tour homes. She arranged private showing itineraries and could provide insight and context regarding the history and feel of each neighborhood we looked at. She made savvy suggestions on how and when to put together an offer. We couldn't have done it without her and her great team! Thank you Deeana!
