I can’t even put into words how wonderful Dave has been to work with. My husband and I are first time home buyers. We were randomly paired with Dave via Zillow and we really hit the jackpot! We had no idea where to begin when we first met him. He taught us the process, connected us to an amazing lender (Jose Valenzuela), and continues to be a resource helping us find contractors even now that the purchase is complete. He helped us navigate tricky situations, was patient and supportive, and went to bat for us several times when negotiating our offer and contract. My wife and I were looking at downsizing from a house to a condo. Ventura is about 100 miles from where we live, so we needed help understanding the local market and the whole process, not having bought a property in more than 30 years. Marla listened carefully and showed us several promising places. Also, when wires got crossed about the timing of an open house, she jumped in to give us a private showing (on the Sunday of a holiday weekend). Ultimately, we decided against moving to the coast for other reasons. If things change and we return to the market, Marla would be the first and only agent I would call.

David was exceptional on every front. Reviews often sound so dry. So we'll start by saying that David found us the home that makes our hearts sing. Then, when the torrent of paperwork and complexities came rolling along, he kindly and patiently walked us through all of it and then some -- deftly covering every nuance, from various insurance to how to turn the gas back on. Biggest of all, he accomplished all of this with a kindness and efficiency second to none. I know, in quiet moments for years to come, we'll sit in our dream house and remember him with a big smile.
