Steve Thayer

Steve Thayer is the Broker/Owner of The Thayer Group and an owner of the Keller Williams office in Castle Rock. As a residential real estate specialist, Steve prides himself on his community involvement, civic mindedness, honesty, and communication with his clients. Steve believes that buying and/or selling a home can be extremely stressful and works diligently with his team to alleviate any unnecessary stress or confusion. Steve has been a successful realtor in Colorado for over 14 years - and feels that this career is one that he will enjoy through retirement. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Realtors (NAR) , and is the President of the Board of Directors for The Meadows Metro District #1, is a Town of Castle Rock Public Safety Commissioner, and is a member of the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce BOD. He recently was awarded the 2021 Denver Metro Assn of Realtors Realtor of the Year, and In 2015, he was chosen as the Douglas/Elbert County Realtor Associations Realtor of the Year. And in 2011, he received the distinction of Douglas County Living’s Reader’s Choice Castle Rock Realtor of the Year. In addition, he has been extremely involved in the Castle Rock community, receiving the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce’s nominee for Citizen of the year in 2010 and receiving the Ping Lee Jung Volunteer of the Year award in 2009.
