Dan is a great person to work with. He is very professional and respond quickly. He is also very patient and willing to listen to client’s various requests. I never feel any pressure from him. I am a first-time house buyer and he showed me several houses. He did not only provide the house information but also information about the house location and community. It is really a pleasure to work with him.

First heard about Randy when my next door neighbor listed and sold his house within a month a couple of years ago. I remember seeing Randy coming by the property to check on things, which made a positive impression. At the time I had no plans to sell my house. When that changed recently, I knew Randy was going to be the first person I contacted. From there he was an incredible resource for us, especially considering this was the first house we had ever sold. He was honest about the market and helped us set a realistic price. He advised us on what buyers are looking for, and what work needed to be done to the house. He has an extensive list of trustworthy companies to work with, and each one he recommended did a great job. He told me what to expect and walked me through each phase of the process. And most importantly, he took the time to talk with me and was very responsive to emails, texts, and phone calls. I cannot overstate how easy Randy made this entire process for us. Buying and selling a home can be one of the most stressful things that one can go through, so it makes sense to use a realtor who will make the process as smooth as possible. My wife and I had decided to move from Virginia to Jacksonville, FL to assist my aging mother. I found several homes on Zillow that looked promising, so I decided to drive to FL to see them in person, but I only had three days to find the right home. As I approached the Jacksonville city limits, I received a call from Dan Schmidt, an agent that the Randy Martin team assigned to contact me based on home I expressed interest in. Dan introduced himself and immediately offered his services. The next morning, Dan met me at one of the homes I 'thought' would be perfect for me, but once inside, it was evident it was not. Dan invited me back to his office where he pulled up a large number of homes that met my criteria and price range. Instead of wasting time driving to each home, Dan meticulously helped me narrow down the list to a handful of homes. We visited those homes that afternoon, but none excited me for various reasons. We repeated the search process the next day, which was also my last day to find a home before I had to return to Virginia. After visiting multiple homes throughout the day and into the afternoon, I began to lose hope I'd find the perfect home. Now, all the time I had been working with Dan, he demonstrated utmost professionalism and patience with me, while trying to encourage me to consider a new construction home in a rapidly growing along the eastern Duval/St Johns County border. Finally, I gave in and took Dan's advice to see several new construction homes. The second I walked into the only new home that would have been available on our move date, I fell in love with it. It was perfect in every way, style, layout, location, and waterfront lot. Had I listened to Dan's expert advice straight away, I could have saved us both time and energy. Dan personally represented me during the pre-closing inspection, providing me a real-time view through Facetime video conferencing. He was also right there with me for the closing inspection, closing process, and multiple follow up calls and text messages throughout the next two months prior to moving in. He still follows up with me today to ensure my wife and I are satisfied with our new home and we are aware of tax issues that are new to us. Dan Schmidt and the entire Randy Martin team are top-drawer real estate professionals in every respect and clearly set the highest standards in service and customer satisfaction for all other agencies to strive for. Randy and his team were awesome! Randy has years of experience and that experience was invaluable! He is a man of his word! He keeps you updated, explains the process in a manner that is easy to understand and keeps his committments. I would highly recommend Randy to anyone looking for assistance from a real estate professional. I can't say enough great things about Randy (and his team!)! He sold both my house and my mom's house within 3 days! You should definitely check him out!
