Proceed with caution. I can say that Melissa know’s her craft, but you better know yours very well too. She’s seems very competent in putting a deal together quickly but 1. Make sure you are well researched. She’ll simply execute without necessarily letting you know what all the options are and what choices you have. So for experienced buyers this is fine but for first time home buyers, not the best choice. 2. Make sure ahead of time you are committed to either the property you want to buy (see next point) or to working with her. To put in an offer, you’ll be asked to sign a 10 month exclusivity contract with her. Not necessarily a bad thing but just make sure you know what you’re committing to. 3. If you tour a house with her, and are interested in it, she’ll be eyeing her commission very zealously. This was my experience with her: I toured a property with her and liked the property, so we started to put a deal together. During this process, many factors led me to feel uncomfortable working with her, including the 10 month exclusivity clause, and so I told her I was no longer comfortable working with her. She responded with an intent to sue for her commission (if I move forward to purchase that property). [Nothing was signed, no offer letter, no buyer's agreement]. The very definition of "professional".......dedicated, knowledgeable, thorough, and helpful in every way. When we called Melissa from across the country to urgently further investigate a property she had sent us online that we were even prepared to jump on a flight to secure with an offer, she went to the property, photographed it in detail and gave us her professional opinion of how the property might satisfy the needs we had given her. It saved us from an expense that was better invested some weeks later, when we choose our new home instead. She is the best. Chris Greer

Melissa was very helpful navigating the hot Seattle market for buying a house. We made a targeted list of houses of interest, then started visiting and making offers. Due to her knowledge and expertise, it didn't take too many bids before I won and purchased my first house. Thanks!
