We thought selling our home of 47 years, the home we raised our family in and our grandkids played in, would be a traumatic experience. Because of Marty, it was not. From day one she was at our side, physically and virtually, every step of the way; regardless of the time or day of week or importance of question her response was within minutes. Her knowledge of the community and historical value of homes allowed us to make an educated decision on our asking price, at a time when no comps were available (nothing comparable on market). Her inspection of the home (three times) allowed us to make minor repairs and stage appropriately prior to listing. Her robust team ensured digital marketing was maximized, this included an amazing videographer, IT team and field coordinator. Once the home was listed and open house posted, her team initiated a vigorous telephone outreach to neighbors and community members notifying them of the open house, which resulted in over 30 groups viewing the home on day one and two subsequent offers. As the offers came in, Marty researched each one to determine strength of offer and then discussed the pros and cons of each with us (such as an offer that was contingent on the sale of a home in another county, Marty researched the market in that county/city to determine how quickly that home would reasonably sell, another offer was a purchase by an individual through a company and Marty researched the specifics to ensure it was legal). In addition Marty personally communicated with potential buyer agents in real time, keeping them abreast of current offers and negotiating counter-offers. And last, Marty was a great professional partner. Although not traumatic, this experience was still emotional and Marty offered empathy and understanding wrapped up in a wonderful sense of humor. All of her actions and our end result justified our trust in her and her team. In other words, she does whatever it takes to ensure you get the best price in the timeline you require; she was an effective and trusted advocate! This was the second property we listed with Marty in a 3 month period, we would contract with her again if we had a fourth!
