Jon was fantastic, extremely flexible with schedule, able to view most properties within a day of listing, and multiple per day in some cases. Very knowledgeable about the greater Seattle area market. The night prior and during offer review was available well past normal working hours to provide updates from the selling agent. Recommended a solid inspector who found a handful of problems, which Jon negotiated with the seller to fix before closing. Overall great experience, no negatives I can think of.

We worked with Jon on buying our first home almost a year ago, and I still remember how he made our process extremely smooth. He spent time with us understanding our needs, things we liked, and things we didn't like. He smartly presented us with options that helped us narrow down to the final one. Throughout the process, he was extremely patient, responsive, and friendly. The part that stands out for me is that he is still in touch with us. It shows that he takes his customers seriously, does his job well, and also builds good connections. We were surprised when we started getting discount coupons from him to the restaurants in our neighborhood. I highly recommend considering Jon for your real estate needs, especially if this is your first time buying a new house. With his knowledge, negotiation skills, transparency, and resourcefulness your experience of buying a new home will be memorable and with minimum hiccups.

The short and brief of it is that Jon was extremely quick to respond, very professional, and super helpful throughout the entire process. If you're new to home buying, you need Jon Hodgson. The long story is as follows: My girlfriend and I were browsing homes on separate accounts. She was assigned Jon Hodgson and I was assigned somebody else. Since I was doing a lot of the calling and asking for viewings, I went with the guy that was assigned to my account. It was easier, I'd thought. That feller, of whom I won't name but let's call him [REDACTED] would take days to respond. My girlfriend and I got super excited to see a house, once and when we finally got a response from [REDACTED], days later, he just told us that they were picking an offer that day so it's no good going to view it. Which left us a little incredulous. Why didn't [REDACTED] tell us days ago? Our last communication to [REDACTED] was one where we asked him to show us a house that we thought was a possibility, albeit a less likely one. It looked a little rough, but it was a decent looking deal, so whatever. Herbert did not respond. So, finally I got Jon's number from my girlfriend's account and sent him a text message. Within minutes, Jon responded and had us a time, later that afternoon, to view the house. At the viewing Jon gave us the rundown on everything he'd learned from calling the listing agent and asking lots of questions. The owner's wanted to sell to a developer, there were lots of issues, etc. It was pretty amazing to go from a realtor who wouldn't respond to talking with one who not only responded within minutes, but did his research, and to top it all off, he still showed us the house even though he knew it was most likely a lost cause. This was our experience with Jon throughout the entirety of the time working with him. We'd send him an address, he'd give us all the available times to view it, and when we got there he'd be full of information. How many pre-inspections had been done, how many offers had been placed, when the owner's were reviewing offers, and so on. Any and all of the relevant information that people might not think to ask, he'd already have the answers to. It took a ton of stress out of the whole Viewing to Offer to Buying process. In the time that I was first just kinda looking at houses to now, we'd gone through a few different realtors and none of them had the professionality, punctuality, responsiveness or knowledge that Jon has.

Jonathan Hodgson was 100% effective in making an impossible dream for me come true. He is dedicated, patient, wise, and very committed to helping you achieve your goal of buying a home. Whether you are buying a mansion or a starter home, he will answer all your questions and work hard to make you feel informed and comfortable with what is probably the biggest purchase of your life. Would absolutely recommend Jon Hodgson (and his network that make up your home buying team) to anyone who is not sure they can make the American Dream happen for them.
