John was recommended to us when we started the journey of buying a house, and we are very grateful that he was. We found that having John as your agent is to benefit from his ability to not only break down every step of what is a very intimidating process but to also benefit from his ability to guide you through those steps with patience, attention to detail, and with clear dedication to you as his client. He was always honest with us and was always eager to share both his knowledge of the area and his knowledge of each step as we took it. The overwhelming process of buying a first home was made much easier on us having John on our side.

John was an amazing partner in buying a home in Baltimore. As buyers who knew nothing of the area, John’s guidance made sure we found just what we were looking for in a location that met our needs. He certainly helped us to avoid potential problems, and educated us along the way. He never hesitated accommodating us with us when we had scheduling and travel challenges. When we were looking a certain properties, his due diligence reviewing records, and his obvious deep knowledge of the area saved us. We would recommend John to anyone.

John Maranto and his team did a phenomenal job in helping guide and support our journey as first time home buyers! Over the past year and a half, John and his team were patient, knowledgeable, organized, responsive, and experienced in helping us find the perfect space for our family. One of our favorite things about their team is that they weren’t afraid to point out a home’s imperfections, inform of us of any potential issues we might face with certain homes or surrounding areas, and offer suggestions for different neighborhoods to consider and explore. It was their consistent honesty, transparency, and expertise that confirmed we had found the right team for our needs. We are so grateful to their team for making our first home buying experience a smooth one, even during a competitive and challenging market!

When my fiance and I started our home search, we didn't have a realtor. Mainly looking through zillow, we kept getting randomly assigned realtors through that site as we found new homes we wanted to tour. Eventually, as we were getting more serious with the search/considering putting offers down, we decided we needed to pick one moving forward. We didn't pick John because of a quick google search showing his good ratings, we picked him because of our own personal experience with him. He was very detailed/informative while giving us the tour. He didn't sugar coat things; if he saw something that would be an issue/he didn't like, he made it known. Most of the other realtors we partnered with rarely pointed out anything and couldnt seem to answer a lot of the questions we had around the properties we saw with them. It seemed like they were more concerned about making the sale rather than giving their honest opinions, maybe thinking that could lead us to not put an offer down. This was no issue for John, we felt like out of all the realtors we worked with, we could trust John the most. He did a great job pointing out problems we most likely would've missed and was even honest when he didn't like a property we toured by giving his reasons. Over the 1.5 years we ended up working with him, he was very patient with us. Even after we finally closed, he has kept in touch and recommended a contractor we are currently working with now. If it wasn't for John, we would have never seen our home as we were not familiar with the neighborhood at all! He highly recommeded the neighborhood, and it was a great spot for the starter home we wanted within our budget. If you are looking for a realtor(which can be overwhelming with how many are out there), you can feel confident that you'll be in good hands with John as your realtor!!

I have worked with John multiple times during the purchase and sales of my previous homes. John is very knowledgeable, personable, responsive, and genuinely cares about his clients’ best interests. He’s an awesome advocate for his clients and such a great resource during the home-buying process. We can’t recommend him enough!
