Mark was an amazing realtor to work with as a first-time homebuyer! He took the time to explain the entire home buying process, and then offered his expertise on the city of Baltimore. He was always honest with me about his opinions of the properties we viewed, and he worked super hard to negotiate a good deal for me on my new home. He was always super responsive - never waited more than an hour or so to hear from him when I had questions. I would definitely recommend Mark to anyone looking to buy a home within Baltimore City - specifically in the neighborhoods surrounding Patterson Park :)

I've worked with John for the last 13 years and always come to him for advice about the real estate market. I recently bought my third home using John as our realtor and he took care of us from the start of our search through another successful purchase. He helped us narrow down areas around Maryland to focus on based on what we were looking for and his expertise was instrumental in helping us determine how and when to bid on homes. His knowledge of Baltimore City and the surrounding counties is extensive and we relied on it heavily throughout our home search. He gave us great advice and walked us through a changing and difficult buying market so we could feel confident making decisions surrounding our purchase. Johns ability to handle every portion of the negotiation process and throughout our experience working with him, we were reassured that we had the best person in our corner to get the best home for us. I have also used John to find tenants for my investment properties in Baltimore City. He is extremely knowledgeable in this area as well, walking me (as a first time investor) through what to expect and how to evaluate a property's potential. Worked with John Maranto to buy our first house. It was an excellent experience and I doubt there is anyone better than him. He is very knowledgeable, well connected, and has been selling homes in the Baltimore area for decades. He is unpretentious, straightforward, and smooth to work with. He makes sure you understand every aspect of the process. He is comfortable with himself and his abilities and will only reduce your anxiety rather than add to it. He never made any mistakes, even small ones, throughout our home buying process. He is an efficient and direct communicator and tells you the truth, there's no need to read between the lines. He seems extremely genuine and "goes the extra mile" in terms of assistance and availability for anything related to homes, even after the purchase. He isn't "going the extra mile" to try to get a good review from you or validation or something, it seems to just be his personality. We'd go with him again no question.
