My wife and I met Alex West at one of his listings in Tahoe Pines and we were immediately impressed. We hired him on the spot. With his attention to detail, local knowledge, and professionalism, he was able to get us into contract on our dream home very quickly. The home we ended up buying wasn't actually on the market at the time, and through one of his many connections (everyone in Tahoe seems to know Alex!) he was able to negotiate a great deal for us. We've bought 7 homes and sold 4 over the years and Alex is hands down the best agent we've worked with.

My husband and I just happened to luck into getting Alex as our agent. We are longtime residents in our area and know many other local agents but we thought it might be better to have someone without personal ties. But the great thing about Alex is that it is personal! He made us feel comfortable with the process, was very knowledgable about letting us know what to expect and turned us on to a very helpful and diligent mortgage broker. He helped me be patient and was a great go-between with the listing agent for us. He gave us great referrals for a home inspection and pest inspection and made sure we knew what to expect. We love our new home, thanks, Alex!

Alex was extremely accommodating and flexible while showing us houses. We were from out of the area and Alex always had time for us. He also was a giant help after our purchase with referrals of all types from contractors to arborists. I look forward to the next time we go house hunting with Alex!
