y husband and I had the pleasure of working with Zach Goldman on a house purchase in Carmel-by-the-Sea from 8,000 miles away. We were extraordinarily happy with his work, and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to find a home in the area. When we began our search for a real estate broker, we sent inquiries to 13 local agents. Zach was the first to respond, and his responsiveness proved to be a hallmark of his service throughout the process. As we work in the Middle East, not only were we doing everything virtually, but we were dealing with an 11 hour time difference. Zach was consistently responsive to our early morning and late evening messages, always available for a phone call, and patient with our questions. He demonstrated excellent judgment throughout, and we appreciated his candid, no-nonsense style. Zach clearly knows what he's doing, gives sound advice, and really showed us that he was someone we could trust-- a critical trait, considering our distance. Zach got us to the finish line on our purchase, and we could not be happier.

Zach helped my wife and me buy our first home and we couldn't be happier! Zach is very knowledgeable and had an amazing way of easing our concerns as first-time homebuyers (and generally anxious people to begin with!). Zach got us a great price (well below the asking price) despite competing offers and was able to negotiate further price reductions for issues that were revealed during escrow. He did this all in an efficient and effective manner, despite the whole process occurring during the COVID pandemic. What we appreciated most about Zach was his responsiveness. I am an attorney and admittedly went overboard combing through every word of every document, which led to many questions. Zach was patient, understanding and helpful each time I had a question, which was quite a bit. All in all, I can't recommend Zach strongly enough. My wife and I are now happy homeowners, mostly thanks to Zach!

First, I should note that we threw a number of variables for Zach to deal with when we asked him to be our Buyer's agent. It was early May and California was still in Shelter-in-Place and he expertly and professionally dealt with the constraints which that entailed, while being extra respectful of my wife's concerns related to Covid transmission. We had a very limited geographical area that we were interested in, primarily looking for something within walking distance to the Aquarium and with access to MST bus lines. The transaction was going to have to be a VA Loan. And finally, because of a variety of issues we needed to complete Closing within eight weeks of the beginning of our search. That seems like a tall order but with Zach Goldman as our agent not only did the job get done but with a level of competence that had us feeling confident and at ease throughout the process. More than anything, Zach was patient and understanding of the fact that we were first time home buyers. After identifying and viewing four potential properties, we initially put in a bid and then withdrew it after perceiving some snags. Zach allowed us to make our decisions without pressure or judgement, gave us several weeks to cool off and re-assess, and then gently approached us again to see how we wanted to proceed. We instructed Zach to put in a bid on the property we ultimately purchased, he gently guided us in putting in a competitive bid, and was there for us every step of the way with potential roadblocks like the assumption of a solar lease, VA appraisal, Section One clearance, City Report, and a delicate timeline on taking possession of the property. Throughout this process, we had 100% confidence in Zach and trusted him completely to act in our best interest. No longer a real estate rookie, I can say that this factor of trust is probably the single most important thing in a real estate transaction and Zach Goldman is in your corner and has your back completely. He was available and responsive to our concerns and questions and panics 24/7 and always with a friendly, calm, and professional demeanor. Zach's knowledge of the local market and working relationships with lenders, appraisers, inspectors, tradesmen, etc is extensive. I simply cannot imagine a better outcome or imagine going through this process with anyone other than Zach. He is the best!!!!

Highly recommend Zach to anyone looking for a real estate professional on the peninsula. He was able to sell our house very quickly and above list price. Zach possesses a thorough knowledge of the market/industry, coupled with a warm & personable demeanor. He provided excellent advice as we navigated the process and his marketing strategy really paid off! Throughout the experience he was resourceful, enthusiastic and most importantly, patient. He helped make a potentially stressful time more comfortable for all of our household.
