Let me start by saying I don't like buying and selling houses. It just isn't something I look forward to and truly dread the process. Houses are a huge component of net worth and making the wrong choice can handicap you for many years. I also don't like the realtor process very much either. I have too often contacted the one who is just too busy and care very little about what you are going through personally or you get the one who is new and eager and prone to mistakes. You must find the right realtor or things could go south quickly and with thousands of dollars on the line... you get my point. Our first experience with Tanja was probably very frustrating for her. I bailed on a home due to an inspection which spooked me. In retrospect, I was probably rather impetuous and should have thought it through more. It just looked much worse than it probably was. I expected her to cool off quickly on this prospective buyer (me) and I simply assumed we were destined for the rental market because time was getting short. However, she did exactly the opposite. It seemed like her efforts were doubled down upon and we closed quickly on a house that fit us for the time we were there. It was also in one of the best locations we could possibly have found for our budget. We are a military family and we knew our time in this home was going to be short but it was even less than we thought it would be, but there was one very huge difference in that short time frame. Inflation had hit hard and qualitative tightening was driving the cost to borrow money way up in a short amount of time. Could she do it again? We started off really worried. No one wanted to even look at the house. It was so slow that we wondered if we were going to get the result we wanted this time. Being a landlord has an appeal to people who want to be one. We didn't, but were willing to go there if we had to. Tanja had mentioned that DEC would be a better month based upon the market analysis she was privy to but we were so very skeptical. It just looked bad. That was 30 days ago and we are going to close on this home by the end of the week. These kind of things don't happen just by luck or fortune. They happen because there was a realtor working diligently to make our home attractive and desirable. She also has to use some savvy business acumen to make all parties agreeable to the arrangement. If you are buying a home in the Hopkinsville area, I would encourage you to save yourself the potential of a bad experience and get on Tanja's calendar. She knows her business and she will use it to benefit one of the most important decisions you will ever make.

Tonja and her support staff at the office are great. Tonja is a hands-on person at the beginning of listing the home to the sale of the house. Tonja is a very upfront person in all aspects and keeps everyone in the loop. Tonja is old school coming to a sale of the home. She is very professional and knows her job. I highly recommend Tonja West.

Mrs. West has now assisted us on three different occasions. Each time she has went above and beyond the call of duty. She is a professional in every way. Knowledgeable. courteous, and friendly. As a matter of fact, she has become a friend of our family. You won’t be disappointed with Tonja West.

BEST REALTOR/BROKER WE HAVE EVER CAME IN CONTACT WITH! If you need someone that will do their job and fight for you, than Tonja is the one! She took care of everything and made it so much less stressful! Not only is she an amazing human but she definitely found her passion! I would recommend her to every person needing a realtor!!
