My experience with Rhoda is that she cares more about commission than anything else. When working with her when I purchased the home, she led me to believe that I should offer more so as "not to insult the seller". When I sold and she brought the buyer, this philosophy had seemingly vanished although she complained to the listing agent that she didn't feel she should be making less money than him. She brought multiple buyers. In the first escrow, she failed to ensure that the earnest money was deposited. My agent called every day after the 3rd day inquiring. The calls were not returned until finally they were in which we were told the buyers didn't have the money. In the meantime, my property had been seemingly in escrow for almost a month. 6 months later when she brought the 2nd buyer, she repeatedly failed to adhere to any of the time contingencies, she would not return phone calls to my agent when he inquired as to why the time contingency was not being met. When the buyer needed to obtain insurance, it was my agent that made suggestions and recommendations. When after a long and grueling escrow that was always on the verge of falling out, I respectfully asked my agent to ask for me to be allowed 2 days to complete my move. The date had been changed so many times that I had not realized that we were now due to close on a Friday and I needed the weekend to complete my move so that I wouldn't have to take time off work. (after all, I needed the money since I was losing so much on the house having initially overpaid for it so as to not "insult the seller"). I made this request on a Monday. On the Wednesday before the Friday we were due to close, my request was denied. Clearly, the fear of ever insulting a seller was something that came and went.

Rhoda has been a pleasure to work with. She guided us smoothly through the buying process and made the required steps necessary to complete our purchase easy to understand. We felt very comfortable putting ourselves in her hands. Highly recommend!

Working with Rhoda was a great experience. She's very knowledgeable about the area and all the listings. Rhoda found us a great home and we are very happy with our purchase. We definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a home in the Santa Ynez Valley and Santa Barbara. She's just a great lady!
