Easily the worst experience in purchasing, and we're not spring chickens. When we first inquired about a house as out of state buyers, Mark said he could help us with the transaction. Time after time, he gave false information, which is all on record, about a house his mother was listing. When we pointed this out, the first time he apologized and said he'd made a mistake. After that, he ignored the issues. Based on the information Mark (and his mother, as listing agent), gave about the house, we made an offer. During the inspection period, Mark continued to delay returning calls and texts inquiring about everything from a septic inspection to concerns about the area. This was after it was confirmed he was acting as our realtor. After we were able to get the inspection done, much later than we'd expected, the inspector found massive issues including mold and rodent infestation, dead birds, dog hair matted in vents, overall signs of extreme neglect. When we realized the house was unsanitary, we expressed our need to withdraw from the purchase, as our son has serious medical issues and cannot live in a house with smoke, mold, accumulated pet urine and hair, unclean air that has accumulated over time from failure to maintain a healthy living environment. We had expressed to Mark in a first contact call that we were particularly concerned with air quality and odors. He said personally that "it smells good" and "no odors". He said he knew the owners (which he later retracted, saying "I don't know, I don't know them" when we asked about something again) and that they were "older and old-fashioned" and this was supposed to explain why he wanted to delay everything, day to day. It became stressful just to ask questions. We reminded him we were homeless in a matter of weeks, as our house had sold, and had to rely on the inspection report and the facts of the house not being fit, to end the transaction immediately. That's when he said we couldn't. He informed us we had to remedy the problem, so we asked him to explain to the owners our situation, lack of funds to fix the many issues, our son's health. We later learned he never conveyed that information. Only that we were asking for a price reduction. The owners refused. At this point, we realized that Mark was not only not acting in our best interests but was forcing us to go through with this transaction "or lose your earnest money" he said. We wrote up a long-detailed remedy based on the Inspection Report, according to the contract, and returned it to him. He delayed again and had to be called to ask where the document to sign was, as he had not sent it when he said he would. The owners responded, at their agent's encouragement, that they would do the impossible, in order to force us to buy the house. Without going into too much detail, it would be required within a couple weeks for them to eradicate all mold, repair the roof, all damage in the house, grime, residue, rodent infestation, fireplace issues, ductwork, and so many things, each by a specific professional according to that task, all within less than two weeks, then have it re-inspected, etc. In speaking with Mark and his mother, their agent, we conveyed our apologies to the owners but that this was simply not a healthy home for us to move into. Mark said that they would at least keep our earnest money, $10, 000, because they had "started packing". Well, so had we. In fact, we relied completely on Mark's word, and the owners (their disclosure was full of lies as well), and when we found out that the house was in unlivable condition and misrepresented, the trouble and stress only worsened. This was all completely unnecessary. We wanted a house, have in fact purchased several homes out of state prior to seeing them, with the help of realtors. We've had wonderful experiences, until now. I would caution anyone not just out of state, but anywhere, against trusting this mother-and-son team. I have emails, texts, conversations to prove this, and this is all understated. The stress caused by these agents, with false representation and prolonging what they know is unjustified, is indefensible.

There is not enough stars on here to give Mark Coffey for all the help he gave us in the selling and buying process of our homes. Mark bent over backwards for us. I can guarantee he will not give up and he WILL get the job done. He had our home sold in less then a day. He went above and beyond any realtor that I have ever heard of to ensure the sale of our home went as smooth as possible. This included coming to our home upon his own accord to put 10 coats of paint on the delapidated barn that the appraiser gave value to just so it would pass inspection. This was his time, his money, and his own equipment. Who does that for someone they have only known for a couple weeks? Mark did. He truly cares about his clients. He will work hard ensure that the buying and selling process of your home is as seamless as possible. Thank you Mark for everything!!!!

I had the pleasure of dealing with Marks team twice in the last 18 months. He sold the first house I had so fast I didn’t think I’d find another one in time. He and his team found me a suitable home very fast. When I found my dream him a few months ago, I called him again to sell other house.. I called him at 1:00 and he sold it by 4:00 the same day. His team made buying an adventure. I strongly recommend them because they did what they said they would do. I tried for over a year with another realtor to sell my first house and they never marketed it or put any effort into it. Mark and Patsy came in and looked around and made a couple of suggestions and BAM! It was sold. Great team!

We had our house on the market for 6 months with another agent. We had a few showings and 2 or 3 lowball offers. When one legitimate offer came the other agent could not get it done. We called Patsy because she was persistent in following up on our expired listing. In the first 7 days we had over 20 showings and within 2 weeks an offer at above list price. If you want an agent who sticks a sign in the ground and hopes for the best, choose someone else. But if you want your house sold-- call Patsy.

She was friendly and helpful! I was referred to her by someone else who worked with her and had a good experience. My home sold quickly so we didn't have that long to work together. Even so, I would definitely work with her again and I would recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a home!
