We hired Mike Mora two years ago to manage our condo in La Jolla. Things went smoothly for about a year, but then communication steadily declined until he stopped responding entirely—no replies to emails, texts, or phone calls for months. We sent a formal 30-day cancellation notice which he ignored. Only after we warned of legal action regarding the tenant’s security deposit did he finally return the funds—still with no explanation or acknowledgment. This level of unresponsiveness and disregard for professional obligations is completely unacceptable. He continued to collect management fees despite clearly having checked out and made no effort to inform us or transition the account responsibly. Ghosting your clients is not property management—it’s negligence. We would not recommend Mike Mora to anyone seeking reliable, ethical property management or real estate services.

Mike helped me on purchasing my first home. I had no idea what to expect coming into the experience and at times it could be pretty stressful but Mike was always able to put my mind at ease. He completely worked around my schedule to look at homes, and gave me an honest assessment of everything we looked at. The only real work I did was pick a place, sign my name (about a million times), and pay. Mike took care of the rest and was even able to get me some money back. I would, and have recommended him to anyone looking for a real stir and look forward to working with him again.

Mike helped us find our first home and we couldn't be happier with the experience he provided. Given that we knew very little about the house buying process, Mike took the time (and patience!) to walk us through the entire process; to educate us about the San Diego region and various neighborhoods; and once we found our home, to help us through the offer and closing process. I would recommend Mike to my closest friends and family -- and plan on doing so.

I give Mike Mora my top recommendation. We purchased a home while stationed in another state - Mike set up a full weekend of showings, executed very timely offers, and completed the *entire* escrow process with us (buyers) being out of state. His access to the market ensured that we were often were the first to tour a property and his responsiveness ensured that we saved every penny on the property that we purchased. We ended getting a home about $40k under the local market based on Mike's ability to sell us as buyers and his ability to finish the escrow quickly and independently - the escrow was a mere 21 days to possession in a complex, remotely-purchased, tenant-occupied sale. He also worked seamlessly with the VA loan process. Further, Mike continued to follow up after possession to track how we were doing. Mike exceeded my expectations for professionalism, responsiveness, and success.

We were very happy with the services of Mike and the Mora Team with both the sale of our condo and the purchase of our new home. Before making the decision to sell, Mike was available to explain the full details of the selling process, provide advice on market trends and best practices to sell, and answer any questions that popped up along the way. Mike was able to get multiple offers for our condo within the first 20 days of listing. Unfortunately, problems arose between our buyers and their financial institution to the result where they needed to back out of the purchase. This was a very stressful time for us because we had already had an offer accepted for our home that was contingent on the sale of our condo. Luckily, Mike was very detailed with his paperwork and were able to collect the deposit the buyers tried to contest. Mike was able to keep us calm by maintaining excellent communication, a calm demeanor, and forming a plan for success. He was able to re-list our condo (after we had already moved out 90% of our belongings) and get us an offer for $10k more than our asking price. At the same time Mike was selling our property to the second buyers, he was working tirelessly to save the purchase of our new home. Prior to the original buyer backing out, Mike was able to find us a great home, in our price range, where we could grow our family for many years to come. Mike was amazing to work with and we would recommend him very highly to anyone interested in buying or selling.
