This review is long but WORTH IT. Please take the time to read this honest review about my experience with Melissa. My husband and I began our journey to being homeowners in January. We found a house we loved through a Zillow search and contacted Melissa, as she was the sellers agent. Yes; you read that right — Melissa was not even our realtor and she went ABOVE AND BEYOND at every turn to get us into our dream home. Melissa took time away from her friends and family during the SEC Championship (Go Dawgs!) to speak to us about a few properties; giving us the codes to go view them on our own time and at our own speed. Any time we called Melissa, she answered the phone greeting us by our first name; which is such a lost art in the days and time of mass communication. It didn’t matter if Melissa was at the ball field with her children or having dinner with her friends; she answered our call. We viewed the property and had a few questions; which Melissa answered with ease and accuracy. (Keep in mind; she was the sellers agent, not ours! If you’re looking to buy OR sell; know Melissa and her team will take THE BEST CARE OF YOU!) We had a hiccup with cleaning upon move in, but Melissa — being the woman of character that she is — took HER time & HER dime to make sure we were happy in our new home. It’s worth noting our own realtor didn’t do that! Wouldn’t you rather have someone who does the right thing on your side & in your corner? I know I sure do — which is why I’m shouting from the rooftop that you NEED Melissa Thurston involved in your real estate transactions. Melissa doesn’t treat you like a job or a dollar sign; she treats you like family. I 100% recommend Melissa to you. Wether you’re buying OR selling, Melissa will handle you and your home with integrity and respect and you will not regret it. If you’re reading this; Melissa is YOUR GO TO REALTOR!

Melissa was extremely professional and very knowledgeable about real estate in the area. She was very responsive. She stayed engaged with us even though it took us over a nine months to find the right home. She also helped us sell our home even when NO other homes were selling in our previous neighborhood! She never stopped sending potential buyers our way. She made us feel like what we wanted in a home also mattered to her as well. In closing, we would ABSOLUTELY recommend her to our friends and family!

Truly Amazing!! We starting worked with Melissa from the start she sent us to a lender who turned out to be amazing especially @ the closing table. She checked in with us often throughout the process while we waited "patiently" for our preapproval letter. When we got our preapproval she didnt waste anytime she already knew what we wanted. She is very knowledgeable of our region. She made the whole entire process as easy and painless as possible. She was always at our disposal for any questions and or concerns even after we closed. It was a pleasure working with her. If your looking for a go getter Realtor one who fights for her clients best interest all the way up until you sign on the dotted line then, I would highly recommend her to anyone buying and/or selling.

Melissa was fantastic to work with. Pleasant, kind, responsive, knowledgeable, helpful and honest. She's just a solid professional. If you don't buy or sell with her, you're missing an opportunity to have a happy experience!
