My husband and I along with our son-in-law and daughter just purchased a lovely condo at Fort Walton Beach. Marie was our broker. She was incredibly helpful. Marie was extremely professional, engaging, helpful, and established a wonderful client relational base for us to continue to work with her during the negotiation and the buying of the condo. It is without any reservation that we would recommend Marie to anyone looking to purchase a home or condo in the Fort Walton/Destin area.

We have used Marie twice, first as a buyer and later as a seller. She is knowledgeable of the market and very professional. She is a great listener and negotiator, and uses those skills very pragmatically. She also has a great sense of urgency to move transactions along smoothly. I would highly recommend Marie Babin and she would be my first call for a real estate transaction in the Destin area.

Making a 2nd home purchase while living on the other side of the continental US would be quite a feat, that's why going with someone like Marie Babin, with 26 years experience, was the smart choice for us. As a RE agent myself in a different state, I know the value in teaming with someone who understands the area and its competitive market, and especially someone who has a long list of contacts in their network. Marie was highly recommended by a family member who had recently purchased a home with her services. With her vigilance, we were able to secure a purchase contract less than 1 week of the listing. Marie and her team made sure all the inspections/documents were completed, kept in communication with us and the existing property management company, and met up with us for the first time at the signing of closing escrow. Yes, the house was bought sight unseen, but thanks to Marie and all the photos she had sent during her inspection, along with her professional recommendations, we knew it was the right one for our family. Now, our family has a gorgeous home only steps away from the white powdered sand and crystal clear emerald water of sunny FL.

I have used Marie and her team on at least 7 transactions over the past 8 years. Marie and her team have always gone above and beyond with each transaction. She is always on time, provides comps, keeps me informed on negotiation and does everything possible to make the transaction successful. If I can’t make it to tour the property or a walkthrough, she always conducts the showing via FaceTime. As a seller, I even got over list price this time! Buying and selling property can be a very stressful experience without a knowledgeable agent. Marie makes is a pleasure! I Highly recommend her and her team!!
