Lori Stancill is a very nice sweet lady!!!! She was always very responsive and very attentive to my texts even at Thanksgiving which meant a lot to me. She said she did the best she could in regards to listing our 2 parcels for sale in Washington NC. We own 2 separate parcels with 2 separate structures in which we truly wanted to sell together. Lori felt is was best not to do aerial photos due to the neighboring properties, however anyone can do a Fly Around and see what the neighboring properties look like from above. I had an appraisal done on both parcels because Lori said it would be a good idea. I used Corky House, a licensed appraiser. Lori stated that the appraisal was high. We did disagree on pricing. I informed Lori that Corky House put her license on the line when she did the appraisal and for 2 parcels with 2 structures in Washington Park, I thought that was a very fair appraisal. There were several homes listed during our listing that were comparable as well as before we listed and now after the listing has ended. I plan on having another appraisal soon as I want to be fair with anyone who is interested in purchasing these two parcels. We do plan to put the 2 parcels back on the market soon. I am willing to sell for the appraised value. If it takes a while that is ok with me as my goal is to make my Daddy proud. Yes, these properties have sentimental value as they have been in our family over 3 generations, but in my heart, I know that person is out there who will love them as our families have.
