Jimmy was incredible in the sale of our home. He comes with decades of experience and is a market expert. He helped us sell our home surprisingly fast even when the market wasn't in our favor. Jimmy Stewart approached me to list my FSBO home as a Seller’s Agent and suggested my FSBO price was $50k too low; I signed with him because he brought data, charisma and energy. He was my Seller’s Agent on my signed listing agreement, but while on a beach vacation in Portugal, Jimmy had located a buyer. Rather than follow the contract, he “decided” to represent the Buyers as a Buyer’s Agent. Jimmy notified me he was a Transaction Broker, but in fact, in our contract, he needed my signature to agree to this. Jimmy Stewart represented himself as honest, but he negotiated AGAINST me when our contract said he was working FOR me. He brought a contract for my home representing himself to the Buyers as a Buyer’s Agent, and the signed contract with his license number shows Jimmy as a Seller’s Agent AND a Buyer’s Agent. I did not find his marketing of “tireless dedication, meticulous attention to detail and unparalleled negotiation skills” that he raves about in his personal bio to be factual. When Jimmy wanted to list my home, it was worth $50k more than I had the home listed as FSBO, but while under a contract with me as a Seller’s agent, he brought a Buyer as a Buyer’s agent with an offer, my home was worth $40k less than my FSBO value, just four months later. While we made a modification to the contract to correct the error Jimmy made representing himself as a Seller’s Agent AND a Buyer’s Agent, today, Jimmy proudly markets himself as having brought the Buyer and Seller for the transaction.

Jimmy was very thoughtful in the market and valuation of our home and had great pictures taken for the listing. He made everything smooth, and our home sold quickly. It was a pleasure working with him.

For others who may consider working with this realtor, especially in the context of a divorce sale, it’s important to understand that his actions sometimes made it challenging for me to meet my court-ordered obligations effectively. He even tried to convince me that I was legally obligated to pay for certain expenses, which I later confirmed were not my responsibility. In my experience, anyone working with this realtor should consult closely with their attorney to protect their interests.
