We began to work with Jen a full year before we wanted to list and that advance planning proved invaluable. She helped is prioritize our 'to do' list, offering advice and sharing resources as needed. I was concerned at first that her beautiful staging skills would have us feeling like we lived in a house that didn't still feel like home during the listing process, but she simply edited and added a few of her things. Those small changes made a huge difference - but the home still felt like 'us'. During the negotiations Jen had a better idea of what we needed than we did! She understood not just the financial aspect but also the timing and closed a perfect deal for us. When it came to finding a new home our wish list was challenging and the area we wanted to buy a home in had very limited offerings: Jen really had her work cut out for her! Yet she found several properties for us to view even before they came on the market which helped us understand what was available and what we might need to compromise on. Our final choice, after viewing almost a dozen, was at first glance going to be another fail. Yet once inside we all saw the possibilities and knew that with some work it would actually be better than anything we could have hoped for. The problem was the asking price! Jen knew our budget, however, and never pressured us to increase that but instead worked hard on our behalf and closed the deal exactly where we felt comfortable. One amusing note: Jen actually would say "No - this won't work" even before we did to some of the properties we looked at! There was never any sense that she just wanted us to say 'yes' so she could earn her commission - far from it. Even after closing Jen has been helping us with contractor referrals - truly a top notch realtor. Highly recommend.

Jen helped us get our house looking great and that was reflected in the pictures her photographer captured.
