Dan Washburn and his associate, Blake Redus, did an outstanding as our realtor in the sale of our home. They had excellent local knowledge of our area. They did a thorough market analysis, establishing realistic pricing expectations and timelines. They assessed the key repairs and upgrades needed for our home and helped identify honest, quality vendors at fair prices. Dan and Blake went above and beyond in scheduling and overseeing work at our home while we were out of town. The team did an outstanding job staging, photographing and listing the property. There was immediate interest in our home and it sold quicker than we anticipated. Dan and Blake exceeded expectations in all facets of our home sale process. We would highly recommend them if you are selling your home in this area.

Dan did a wonderful job helping a family, not local, relinquish a property after a death in the family. He helped the family from eliminating the contents of the home, up keep, and preparation for sale by giving us local contacts and services. After helping to prep the home he sold the home quickly and at an extremely beneficial price!! He is a great asset to a family!

It’s really hard to keep this review short because I have many good things to say about Washburn Realty. Dan and Blake were friendly, professional, respectful and very pleasant to work with. They were very knowledgeable about home values and sales in our area along with how the market was doing overall. They were organized, clearly focused on what our needs were and were always available to answer our questions. They kept us updated and informed throughout the whole process. And they patiently educated us so we knew what to expect and gave great recommendations on what we could do to ensure a successful sale. We were able to sell our home in a short time for the amount we had hoped for. We are so grateful to Dan and Blake for their support and encouragement during the whole process.

Dan is a rare and gifted individual who, working with his client, predicts the future, helps create a Master Plan, and then, together, they deliver it. I have bought and sold over a dozen houses as my career moved me and my family across Canada and the USA and I have never met anyone quite like Dan. It was a great privilege to work with him while we prepared a plan, executed it (hitting all the milestones at or under budget). When the plan was complete, he promptly sold my home for a little more than he had predicted. Dan is a consummate professional; during the entire process he partnered with me as his roles shifted between being my mentor, coach, advisor, handyman, interior designer, decorator, guide and salesman. When it came time to stage the house he contributed furnishings from his own home along with flowers in pots and baskets to spruce things up, all for free. His knowledge of all things real estate is legendary and extends to the quirks and personalities of other agents, buyers, sellers and their associates. He has an endless pool of competent, cost effective trades people and craftsmen who are reliable, do excellent work, deliver results on time or early, at budget or under, and are supremely flexible. He is also a fierce yet friendly negotiator. It was an enormous and lucrative pleasure working with the Washburn Realty Group and most especially, with Dan Washburn.

Blake was patient, honest, knowledgeable, easy to talk to and a very pleasant experience I would highly recommend Blake. He was very helpful in finding properties for sale prompt on meetings and the contract and closing procedures were surprisingly quick and professional
