As a first time home buyer every single step of the process was new, and we feel very lucky to have messaged Curtis initially & to have started our search with him. He helped us get a feel for what we were really looking for, helped us understand every step of the process clearly, but also did not steer us--he helped us consider our decisions and what they meant but did not try to make them for us. He was great about working with our difficult schedule to view places and about getting paperwork to review/sign in a timely fashion. Curtis made us feel like valuable clients despite our limited price range. We really appreciate everything he did for us.

The Stocking Team recently handled the sale of our rural residence outside of Winters. Every aspect of their representation of our interests was highly professional, timely and flawless. Their recommendation on pricing was well supported by appropriate comparable property sales, their aerial and on-the-ground photography was amazing, they took the time to truly understand our property's features, and they communicated clearly with us and potential buyers as multiple offers were received and reviewed. A major differentiator is that a Stocking representative attended every showing of our property, even when being shown by another agent. Once under contract, they attended to every detail of the transaction and checked in with us regularly just to "see how we were doing". To top it off, Curtis has a very personable manner and a fun sense of humor that made the whole process not just tolerable but enjoyable. I had been trying to sell undeveloped property for the past three years. I used 2 different realtors before choosing to go with Curtis. I felt the prior Realtors gave it a good try but I admittedly was asking too much. When I met with Curtis, it was evident he possessed an in-depth understanding of not only the local market but also had significant historical ties to the area. I valued this as the property I was trying to sell had been in my family well over 100 years. Curtis gave me a realistic price range he believed the property would sell for. About a month later and numerous showings I received an offer. Curtis' expertise in negotiation brought the offer to a sale point very close to the listing price. Curtis clearly knows his stuff and I am thankful he was my Realtor.
