"What more can I say about the Remington team than they are the best in the Denver market! We had owned a rental property that Barry had sold to us 12 years ago and decided that we wanted to sell and be able to travel freely in retirement. Barry and Cassie came to the home with an expert renovation specialist Karen Drozd and they clearly outlined what areas of our home were crucial to repair, replace and update prior to putting the home for sale. The discussions were collaborative to maximize our return on investment and we proceeded. All contractors and work were organized by The Remington Team and Karen Drozd and came in at budget and were completed on time. The next step was to price the property properly and Barry accompanied me to view several homes in our neighborhood to determine our pricing strategy. The home was staged by Karen Drozd’s company Five Empires and Design and photographs taken. Our property was listed on Friday morning and we received a full price cash offer on Saturday morning with a “quick close” of 3 weeks. There were some minor details to be worked out after the contract was signed and Barry and Cassie handled them while we are out of the country! We closed while on vacation as all the details were handled by Barry and Cassie and we never worried about anything. Cassie is truly the best agent in the market! She was an absolute pleasure to work with—patient, responsive, and always on top of things. We toured over 30 homes together, and throughout the entire process, it was clear that Cassie was just as committed as we were to finding the right home for us. From the moment we first met with Barry we knew we were in excellent hands. We needed to list our home for sale going into the winter season, which wasn’t ideal, and then purchase a new home with more space and a yard for our new dog asap. We listed our home within one week after first meeting with Barry. The photos that were taken of our home and the literature he had printed for agents and prospective buyers were gorgeous! Within 6 days of the listing going active we had a full price offer with no concessions. Barry was also able to negotiate a very favorable rent-back agreement with the buyer to allow us more time to purchase our new home. During our house hunt Barry helped us with an offer that fell through during inspection which was a very difficult and emotional situation and we were so thankful to have Barry on our side during that fiasco. His knowledge and support were priceless and we knew his top priority was to protect us from any potential pitfalls in our new home. The search continued and we were so impressed by his willingness to always make himself available and tweak his schedule to accommodate last minute showings for us since properties were going quickly. Barry was an outstanding communicator during our entire experience and never sounded rushed when we spoke with him or had questions. Barry not only helped us find our new home but we are still shocked at the deal he procured for us on the new home! It was better than we could have hoped for.
