Working with Barbara was the definition of patience and partnership. Over the course of about a year and a half, what started as a professional relationship genuinely became a friendship. Barbara invested real time in understanding what we wanted—through numerous conversations, visits, and home tours—helping us sort through requirements, nice-to-haves, and the tradeoffs that come with each choice. As our thinking evolved, she helped us hone in on our true priorities and a realistic price range, without ever pressuring us to move faster than we were ready for. What stood out most was how personal and hands-on her service was. Nearly every interaction was directly with Barbara: tours, emails, texts, calls, inspection coordination and follow-ups, and guiding us through title and closing. Barbara did a wonderful job of finding us a home in Sedona. It's complicated enough to find a property the next town over; finding one across the country is an entirely different ballgame. Barbara's expertise was apparent from our first phone call, and her candid advice about the area and the market helped us to avoid a very risky property early on. When my wife and I visited Sedona again a year later, Barbara put together an attractive slate of homes to visit, and eventually we found the one for us--which Barbara happened to be listing. I had never worked directly with the seller's agent before, but Barbara was always thorough and fair. She walked us through the entire closing process from across the country, and her collection of contacts and resources for newcomers to Sedona has proven invaluable as well. I never imagined a distant purchase like this could run so smoothly, and the credit for that goes to Barbara. I'd gladly recommend her to anyone.
