Highly, highly recommend working with Ala & Craig at Chappelear & Associates. They made the process of selling our home, while living states away, easy for us. Ala's expertise and guidance helped us walk through the steps to close. She also was able to assist by recommending local contractors to finalize inspection details. Can't say enough good about the Chappelear Team. They know the market, get to know the properties individually, as well as the sellers and buyers, and then walk them through the process with ease. They are responsive to inquiries and always timely - even on short notice. For sellers, if you want quick turnover and qualified buyers, they will get your property sold. For buyers, whether for you individually, or for rental or investment property, they'll stear you to the right properties in your price range and then get you closed as soon as possible. I've worked in real estate for many years and a purchaser, seller, leasor and attorney. You will simply not do better than Craig, Ala and their team so don't look any further. You will not be disappointed.

My wife and I are moving back to Anderson after more than 40 years away, and we did not know how to start viewing houses.  We saw a house we were interested in seeing that was listed by Chappelear & Associates and I gave them a call. Ala Chappelear responded and showed us the house without putting any pressure on us although it was her company’s listing. She then showed us others that we were interested in while getting to know us and what we were looking for. She sent us a couple of listings to look at and even approached some homeowners in an area we liked that were not even on the market to see if they were looking to sell in the near future. Still, she allowed us to take the lead based on our preferences and market availability. Once we identified the house we wanted to purchase, Ala and her team (Amy, Maddy and Sandy — I’m sure Craig was working behind the scenes as well) were friendly, efficent and went beyond what we expected to make the transaction smooth.  Due to their excellent experience in selling homes, they helped to gain us benefits that we did not think of which resulted in a “win-win” for both the seller and us as the buyer. We have seldom worked on a business transaction with anyone whom we felt made such an effort to represent our best interests while keeping all interactions fair for everyone involved. We both regard them as a five-star team and would recommend them as very exprienced and service-oriented.
