We purchased our townhome in Aurora in 2025, and working with Miriam made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. She was incredibly knowledgeable, always responsive, and truly cared about protecting our interests. She was always ready to share alternative vendors for various needs, which was incredibly helpful throughout the process. What we especially appreciated was her honesty — she was frank with us about both the good and the bad of every home we visited, while ultimately leaving the final decision completely in our hands. From answering the smallest questions to guiding us through every step, Miriam was consistently patient, detailed, and dependable. Matt did a great job. My experience with Laricy Americorp (Laricy Group) was fantastic I interviewed 5 different realtors, as I haven’t bought or sold a home in a very long time. Some were recommended, others I found on my own. Laricy was found by my doing a Google search from the realtors with the most sales in Chicago, where my home was. They were number 2. When I looked at their website, I looked to see if they had sold properties in the West Loop, which they had as I felt I needed a broker who understood my area. The interview process was interesting. Most showed up like they were “long lost friends”, casual clothes, jeans in some cases, brochures and most important as it turned out, no teams. All say they have a team, but as I found out, you have to dig to find out what tools the person or group you hire has available. My property was over $1 million, which to me is expensive After the interviews, I decided on Laricy Group due to: Honesty: They were the only group that upfront made it clear that to entice buyers, the seller typically ends up paying the buyer’s commission. When I asked in my interview, others, they typically dodged the question but when pushed, they generally said the seller pays. Pricing: To get you, most promise the sky, but in this market, you and the broker have to set a realistic price. New listings get the most views but keep in mind that views drift off as the property sits. I ended up with an offer on my first view that was good but held out and got a better bid a short time later. Professionalism: Everyone was great, from their staff, to online videos, to weekly updates on how many views online, how many showings took place in the week, what the potential buyers said about the property after the showing, and to the law firm they recommended that was just as hands on as Laricy Group was. Every step of the way was great. In the end, the home sold at a good price and rather quickly. Would I recommend Laricy Group. Absolutely and have to my closest friends.

He was extremely responsive and demonstrated strong knowledge of the market at every step. His team is incredibly organized and highly experienced, we completed the entire process within just 23 days, and not once did we feel overwhelmed. Everything was well-coordinated and transparent from start to finish. I would highly recommend Matt and his team to anyone looking for a seamless home-buying experience.

Matt Laricy could not have worked harder to get me the condo I wanted. He's a skilled negotiator and knows more about the market than anyone I've ever met. Not only that, he'll treat you with respect, valuing your business, whether you're looking buy in the low six figures or the sky's-the-limit. Bottom line, you can't go wrong with Matt and his team. Highly recommended!
