Before starting the home-buying process, my fiancé and I were very skeptical of realtors. They have tremendous influence over what is likely the biggest financial decision you will ever make, and we were genuinely afraid of working with someone who might take advantage of us. After sharing our hopes of buying a home with friends, family, and coworkers, PJ was recommended to us by someone we deeply trust. With that endorsement, we decided to meet him—and we are so grateful that we did. Our first meeting with PJ was on September 24th, 2025. We had no idea we would be closing exactly two months later. As first-time home buyers, we knew nothing. We honestly thought it would take at least a year before we’d feel confident enough to buy. But from the moment we started working with PJ, we began building real knowledge. His home-buyer’s guide laid out the process step by step, and we referred to it constantly. Lastly, something deeply meaningful to us: we are first-generation college graduates, the children of immigrants, raised in inner-city apartments. Sharing this experience with our families was important, and PJ welcomed them at every showing. He never made us feel like a burden. That kindness is something we will never forget.
