My siblings and I recently sold our family home. The home had been in our family for over 50 years. We had previously tried another real estate firm but decided to move on because of the firm’s lack of understanding of the community. We had to start over and set up a series of interviews with other potential realtors. We had an initial meeting with Susan McCoy of the The Real McCoy Team at Your Home Sold Guaranteed Realty Services and the contrast was immediately apparent. She not only knew the area, but she also understood numerous key selling points of the house that the previous realtors had not even considered. She listened to our goals and needs and worked with us to develop a plan of action and timeline for moving forward. We were so impressed with her knowledge of the realty market and her proposal for moving forward, we cancelled all other appointments. She was able to satisfy the concerns of all the family members involved in the sale of the home. This was not a small issue. Unlike other realtors we worked with or interviewed, we felt Susan truly understood and cared about our unique situation. She worked to understand all the moving parts. To say she was easy to work with is an understatement. She made our family comfortable right from the start. She took the time to explain the logic behind her suggestions. Also, we never felt rushed. Susan had infinite patience and did not leave until all our questions were answered (no matter how long it took). Susan’s commitment to excellence was also unmatched. She utilized professional photography and drone technology to ensure the posting of our home on the various sites was as comprehensive as possible for potential buyers. Her ability to understand the market/recent sales and to negotiate effectively exceeded our expectations. The professionalism and approach made all the difference. Once we went to contract, Susan would provide us with updates. She provided support beyond the transaction itself. She connected us with reliable services as needs arose and worked closely with our lawyers to ensure a successful conclusion. Given her many years of experience, her network of contacts is vast. Based on our experience, we could not imagine working with another realtor. From the first meeting to the closing process, Susan was by our side (even when it wasn’t required), offering guidance and reassurance. The attention to detail, patience, and local market knowledge made us feel completely at ease. We would gladly recommend them to potential customers. We cannot thank the Real McCoy team enough!

I will forever be grateful for Susan's support and expertise! Every question was answered swiftly and in full. If we needed professional help to address a problem in the house, she had a full roster of services to recommend, and they were all as professional and considerate of our needs as Susan was. Susan and her team did a fantastic job selling our family home. She was responsive to all of my concerns, answered my numerous questions and was proactive marketing the home and negotiating with potential buyers. The home had many viewings and sold quickly. We were selling a house coming out of probate, and Susan and her team made the entire process simple and quick. From her excellent recommendations— including a real estate attorney, landscaper, and junk-removal team— to managing the showings, everything was incredibly easy. She stayed in frequent communication, provided us with wonderful advice, handled everything in a highly professional manner, and negotiated to secure a price above our expectations. Susan was a real pro! I can't say enough about the attention to detail and follow through. She alerted us to the possibility that we may have open permits on the property (we did) so I was able to deal with that right away. Several open houses were held. All costs were clear and above-board. Excellent experience.
