I have known Shannon Severance for over six years and have done three real estate transactions with her team. I recently had the privilege of working with Shannon and her team during my last real estate transaction, which was VERY complex due to my double contingencies, selling two properties in different states. Shannon and her team constantly sought my best interest and were steadfast throughout. Even in some parts, that wasn’t their responsibility, but they took it upon themselves to be nothing less than exceptional in everything they did. These qualities are scarce to come by today. I will “only recommend” Shannon Severance and her real estate team to anyone doing transactions in Hawaii.

Shannon was an Absolute Hero for our family! Not only did she make every effort to make the purchase of our beautiful home the easiest and most stress free process, she then went above and beyond to make the Selling of our home that much more rewarding. A bitter sweet experience having to sell our home, yet she ensured that we had everything we needed to make it effortless. She was there with us, understanding the love and care we wanted to project and assisting in getting our home showroom ready for potential home buyers. She made every effort possible to ensure ee were making our home one of the most marketable homes in our area. From maximizing the home’s value and going to bat for us on the appraisal to ensuring we had the best photographer and stagers to really highlight the beauty our home has to offer. We worked with Shannon for our house purchase back in 2020 and had a great experience. So we didn't think twice about who our realtor would be when it came to our house sale and purchase in 2023. With this being our first time buying and selling simultaneously, naturally we had a lot of questions. Shannon was always very transparent and patient with me as I reached out with numerous questions throughout the process. As a military spouse, my husband was absent for the majority of the process. I also have a full time job so the process wore on me quite a bit. But Shannon was there for me the whole step of the way, pepping me up when I needed it, keeping my eyes on the prize when things got tough. And now we are in our forever home and I couldn't be more happy. With Shannon, you not only get a seamless transaction, but also a friend. Thank you Shannon!

Shannon is a very experienced agent. She provides a 5 star experience!! When you are buying and selling a home that is what you want!! Shannon is very passionate about real estate. She gets very excited when she gets to meet new clients and gets the pleasure to serve them throughout the buying/selling process. Shannon stands up and supports her clients, if there is an issue, she ensures it gets taken care of right away. Shannon is not a pushy agent, she respects what the clients want and does not try and persuade them one way or another. Shannon is very knowledgeable about the military community, she also has a great knowledge about the communities in Hawaii as well. My experience with Shannon is a little different than many other clients. Shannon has been a friend of mine 17+ years. We met when we both lived on Fort Shafter, HI. We continued to be friends over the years through Social Media. When my husband, Mom, and I decided to move back to Hawaii, we knew exactly who we wanted to be our agent. We have gotten to see her journey and successes in real estate through the years. This is the second time we have bought a home and it truly was a five star experience. Even though we were friends and she knew that we were going to choose her as an agent, she sat down and educated us on the process and discussed what we could expect through out the process. She never tried to direct us one way or another when it came to deciding on homes to look at or homes to decide to put an offer on. Once we were in escrow, we received regular email communication about what to expect as far as a timeline. When there were issues when we got close to the time of closing with the Title, she ensured things were taken care of right away, and there was no extra expense on our end. Other than the one hiccup, which was no fault of Shannon the whole process went so smooth!! As far as selling a home Shannon is top notch in the service she provides!! While Shannon did not sell our home in Colorado, I am jealous and wish she had. She has stagers, cleaners, and photographers come in to ensure the home is ready to sell. Her agency provides open houses. She is knowledgeable of the Hawaii market and does her research to ensure the home she is selling is priced right to ensure the home does not sit on the market. However, she also respects the clients wishes and will price the home wherever they want, but will educate them about the price. We did not have that same selling experience. While our agent did give us a discounted rate, we did not have any of the services provided above, we had to be the ones directing the communication and our home sat on the market for a while. I truly believe you get what you pay for. Hindsight is 20/20. If you choose Shannon as your agent you will not be disappointed!!

Shannon did an outstanding job in helping us purchase our home in HI. She connected us with local professionals to help with the whole process - mortgage broker, home inspection, repairs, etc. She advocated zealously on our behalf and kept us well-grounded in managing our expectations. She spoke the truth and didn't over-promise just to try to make a sale. She listened to the features we were looking for in a home and helped us find exactly what we needed. She knows the laws, the processes, and stood her ground for us so things got done without delay.
