Stacey did an outstanding job working with us as selling our home of 20 years. We had lived in Pompton Lakes for 39 years and we needed to stay in the area since my husband works and commutes every day to midtown Manhattan. I had previously known Stacey just through working as her son's Guidance Counselor. We connected at the hair salon, after having a brief conversation, I mentioned that I might be interested in selling my home. Stacey and her partner Pat came to my home a year before we actually put it on the market. They gave me an idea of what price they thought I should put on the market. When we were ready to sell a year later, Stacey and Pat, came back and reassessed the property, for an updated price. Stacey also worked for us on the buying side. After going out with us a few times, she understood what my husband and I were looking for and would take us to potential properties. Thank you Stacey for the amazing help on finding our family's first home. She helped us navigate the current seller's market giving guidance on what we can do to make our offers stronger and thus more likely to be accepted. She provided insights such as comparisons of recently sold homes of similar size, what user and occupancy agreements can do, and what contingencies can make for a stronger offer. She also has a network with mortgage brokers, real estate attorneys, and home inspectors that can efficiently close on a home, and ease the burden on first time home buyers who'll need to find these services. Our family ended up taking a year to find the perfect first home for our needs and budget, and we took it as a learning experience that was enriched by Stacey's knowledge. We now feel comfortable going to open houses and what to look for in the small time window available to see the home.
