Iris Wheeler did an amazing job with handling the transaction. She was very knowledgeable and very prompt. I wish to do business with her in the near future. As a first-time real estate investor, living 2400 miles away, I'd already done a couple months of research before I reached out to Mike Ferrante and his team. In Mike’s videos and podcast work, he comes across as a down-to-earth guy who’s very knowledgeable about the rehab/investing process. I spoke with two other real estate agents on the eastside of Cleveland, but my decision to go with Mike was easy because what I saw and heard in his videos and podcasts was exactly what I got in real life. But probably the best thing I found with Mike was how he listened closely to what I needed. When my nephew (who’d be doing the rehab) and I flew in from Oregon for our appointment, Mike showed up with Joe Hanna—the absolute perfect hand-off agent for what we needed. From then on, Joe took care of everything, and I only reached out to Mike one more time after the deal closed to say thanks, and until next time. Joe’s background is in construction and evaluating properties for investors, so he’s got tons of knowledge and tons of contacts, and I leaned on both. Quickly, we worked out a process. I’d do the online research, using Mike’s dedicated website + Zillow + a couple other sites, including myplace.cuyahogacounty.us. When I found a property I liked, Joe would evaluate it using the MLS for rehab- and rent-ability, and if the property passed, then he’d go out and view it, taking lots of pictures, and we’d discuss whether it warranted an offer. Joe made this process as easy as it sounds, and that’s why we’ll be repeating it again after my nephew completes the rehab on our South Euclid (eastside suburbs) property. Now, of course, we didn’t get the first house we made an offer on, or the second (that’s how it works in 2022), but all along the way Joe was always efficient, quick to make good choices, and quick to run down a problem, and I’m very satisfied the with house we got in the end. Wow what can I not say about Alex Kolesar and the 21 Mike Team! We bought from CA and did everything online and through zoom/FaceTime. Alex was open and honest, when we weren’t feeling a house during walkthrough tour on zoom he would be honest and say what his pros and cons were. We don’t know about basements and he let us know if he had a concern or not. Buying with Alex and the 21 Mike Team was the least stressful part of the home buying process! I was very happy to buy my first ever home and Alex and 21 Mike Team made it possible! Thank you all!!!!
