We had an amazing experience selling our house with Leigh Marcus. We knew we wanted to sell but having lived in the home for 20 years we still had some hesitation. Leigh and his team were very patient while we took our time to make the final decision to put our house on the market as well as throughout the entire process. What we thought was going to be a very stressful process was not one at all. They provided guidance and suggestions without pressure. Most importantly they kept an open line of communication letting us know each step along the way and were quick to respond to our many questions. Leigh and his team were very hardworking and professional from the beginning to the close. We highly recommend working with them!

Gabriel did an amazing job with selling my condo in the River north area of Chicago. Gabriel used some creative approaches to sell my condo during a very tough sellers market. Without his determination and creative approach it would have been tough to sell. Gabriel builds great relationships and uses his communications skills to stay connected with his clients. If I ever decide to buy a home again, I will be reaching out to Gabriel to be my real estate agent.

Leigh Marcus was the listing agent for a home in Wilmette that I virtually toured with his associate agent, Sara Jividen. Since I told Sara that I would rather be self-represented, she provided me with a blank MULTI-BOARD RESIDENTIAL REAL ESTATE CONTRACT 7.0. The following day, I completed and submitted it to Peter Cummins, one of the listing agents, but he rejected it. He emailed saying it was "not the required form [and] does not constitute a formal offer in here in Illinois." He also wrote that he would not consider an offer from anyone who has (1) not physically seen the property and (2) is not represented by a realtor. Additionally, Sarah and Peter both refused to provide me with the home disclosures. They both promised to provide comps but never did. As I understand it, these discriminatory acts are violations of the Illinois Code of Conduct for Realtors. When I brought these matters to Leigh Marcus’ attention, he failed to respond. This shows a lack of integrity, empathy, and professionalism.

Gabriel was great to work with. As first-time buyers, he helped us navigate the process quickly in a very competitive market. Gabriel was very responsive to any of our questions, and helped us think through all the different ways we could make our offer most appealing to buyers. He ended up helping us win two bidding wars (one fell through on the sellers end, the second had 20+ other offers on the table!), and we’ve now secured the perfect first home for our family. Would absolutely recommend working with Gabriel.
