I was a first-time home buyer and Ellen was extremely helpful from day one. She helped me from offer to close and was able to provide advice and answer every question I had. Also, being extremely familiar with the Rye area, was able to provide recommendations of services I would need as a home buyer/owner. I would definitely recommend Ellen to friends and family looking to sell or purchase a home.

In August 2019, my wife and I became interested in Rye, NY and had no prior knowledge of the area or the housing market in Westchester. Thankfully, we met Ellen at an open house for one of her listings and immediately recognized her ability and knowledge of the area. She worked tirelessly for us and set dozens of showings as we worked our way through what seemed like the entire inventory in Rye and Harrison. She is extremely detailed, prompt, professional and her working knowledge of the area as well as the breadth of her relationships within the housing market is incredible. There was never a time where she wouldn't take my call and she works extremely hard. Furthermore, she is an asset at the negotiation table and brings a no-nonsense, but fair approach to the closing process. I always felt that she was an incredible advocate and that she was focused on working towards the best transaction for us. She really helped us - especially given the complexities of the NY housing process vs. Texas (where we had lived the previous 10 years). She also has a genuine love for the area and, being a resident herself, was able to help us understand all of the communities within Rye. She is very well connected to the community and provided multiple introductions for us so that we had the right people to call when dealing with house issues. In addition, she referred us to a handful of spectacular contractors. Even now, we can call or txt her and she immediately responds to us - months after closing. She is the first place we go to ask for recommendations on pretty much anything - restaurants, schools, community events, everything house related. We cannot recommend her highly enough and could not have asked for a better partner.

Ellen represented us in the sale of our home as well as the purchase of a new home. Ellen was critical to the success of each side from start to finish, going well beyond the typical role of an agent through the entire process. We placed several significant needs with regards to timing and our availability on both transactions, Ellens patience, expertise, and guidance helped us achieve our goals while remaining mindful of our family's needs throughout. Ellen earns the high praise she has received.

Ellen was fantastic through our entire home buying process. She was extremely methodical throughout and never pressured us. She started by getting us familiar with Rye and the surrounding towns (she was very knowledgeable) so that when something new came on the market, we were prepared. She was available day or night and really got to know our specific needs/wants. Ellen had a great network in Rye - she has recommended various other professionals to us (architect, designers, etc) and everyone has been fantastic. She stayed involved between contract signing and closing, to make sure everything went smoothly. We would recommend Ellen to friends without hesitation!
