Tom has sold three (3) houses for us. Three!! Tom is a fixer. All three houses were unique in their challenges. None of them had good comps and none were sold when the market was a “seller’s market”. Tom sells the deal. He seeks to understand the other side, what they need, what their motivations are, so he can present them with the house THEY want. Tom doesn’t twist arms, he isn’t sketchy; he develops relationships with the other side until the deal is made up of unified partners. In every deal Tom got us the highest and best amount possible for our homes. He is present at every showing. He once drove across Manatee County at 11 o’clock at night to ensure a buyer signed on the dotted line so the offer wouldn’t expire. After closings he often buys the buyers a drink to celebrate. Tom does extensive market research on every home so the real value isn’t a “best guess” based on three comps. No two homes are exactly alike. Tom is patient, kind, and firm. He tells the other side “No” in a way that makes them appreciate his honesty and integrity. Tom creates the narrative of each property so it appeals to the right buyers. He is realistic with us about expectations and has consistently exceeded them. The range of properties he is comfortable selling is extreme. He sells multimillion dollar properties and sells $200k properties (if those even exist in our area any longer). Tom is very creative with deal structuring, tools he developed from decades of real estate experience. Before Tom I did not understand the point of Realtors, to be very honest. Now I will not do a deal without one. Sad to say we have moved out of Florida but if we ever have the chance to work with Tom again, it won’t even be a question. Around our house we call him “Tom Prosperous” because of how much money he has made us! During our time with Tom, we never acquired a property but we wouldn’t think of buying without him. Every deal has his full attention and he answers calls, emails, and texts at all hours, easily one of the most responsive people I’ve ever dealt with.
