Christina Roberts

Christina is a true northwest Michigan local. She was raised in the East Jordan area with the gorgeous Jordan Valley as her backyard playground. She spent most of her childhood hiking, canoeing, swimming, and enjoying the outdoors at its best. Cristina’s father was a busy and effective Realtor, and Christina decided at a young age that this was the career option for her. Christina was licensed in 1999 and has been working full time in the industry for the last twelve years. Rivaling her love of real estate was, and continues to be, a love of growing things–whether the noble trees of the Jordan Valley or lowly chamomile growing wild in sun-warmed sand, Christina loves to see things grow. And she found she was good at helping them grow and thrive. Maybe, like young children and animals, plants recognize a good heart. With that in mind, and unable to pull herself out of the north that she loved, she attended North Central Michigan College Petoskey and graduated with an Associates Degree in Plant Science. She also attended courses through Michigan State University and earned a certificate in Landscape, Nursery, and Design. These days, Christina spends most of her free time with her two children, enjoying the outdoor playground at their fingertips, enchanted by all Michigan’s splendid seasons. They spend springs hiking and looking for morels while the forest emerges from a sleeping winter. Summers are spent tumbling down the dunes of sand and splashing in cool waters of the abundant freshwater lakes. In the fall, when the hillsides are radiant with autumnal color, they enjoy canoe trips down the many rivers. Then the hibernation season approaches – just in time for the skis and sleds to be dusted off and put to good use. Many weekends full of snowshoeing and sledding adventures is a great way to see the winter wildlife and serene beauty of northwest Michigan. Along the way, she has acquired an intimate familiarity with this area, and would love to show you around.
