Who can become a referral partner?
Any licensed real estate agent in good standing. There are no production minimums to refer. We verify your license before your first referral goes out, usually within one business day.
What does it cost?
Nothing. There are no monthly fees and no cost to join. EffectiveAgents is compensated out of the referral fee paid by the receiving agent's brokerage when a transaction closes.
How and when do I get paid?
On every closed transaction you receive 25% of the gross commission, paid to your brokerage through EffectiveAgents within ten business days after we receive cleared funds from the receiving brokerage.
Can I refer a client in my own market?
Yes. Partners refer clients they do not have the capacity or the specialty to serve themselves, including transactions in their own market.
Can I receive referrals too?
Receiving referrals is reserved for full member agents, who are vetted on multi-year sales performance. If you are a top producer with five or more years of experience, apply for full membership and you can send and receive.
