How does this program work?
Start with the form at the top of this page: your address if you are selling, your zip code if you are buying. We match you with up to three top local agents ranked on their verified sales results. Interview them, pick the one you like, and close with that agent. Enroll here before you speak with an agent so your transaction is part of the program from the start.
What does it cost me?
Nothing. The matching is free and there is no obligation to hire anyone we introduce. Your agent's commission is agreed between you and your agent, as with any sale or purchase.
How does EffectiveAgents get paid?
When you close with an agent we introduced, that agent's brokerage shares a portion of its commission with EffectiveAgents as a referral fee. That fee is what funds this program. You never pay us directly.

Why use EffectiveAgents instead of picking an agent myself?
Most people choose an agent from a yard sign, an ad or a friend's suggestion. We rank agents on what they actually did: verified sale records, how close to the asking price their listings sold, how quickly, and how they perform at your price point, alongside verified reviews. Agents cannot pay to be recommended. A stronger agent is the difference between an average result and a superior one.
Can I use an agent I already know?
This program requires enrolling here first and closing with an agent we introduce. If you are already under contract with a real estate broker, this offer is not for your current transaction.
Does the program cover both buying and selling?
Yes. Sellers enter the address of the home they are selling; buyers enter the zip code where they want to buy. Doing both? Start with the sale and let your matched agent know about the purchase.

Terms and Conditions
In order to qualify for the program, you must be enrolled in the program and be represented at closing by an approved agent that we have introduced you to. This benefit is not available to sellers in short sale transactions. In certain states, buyers may need seller cooperation to participate in the Real Estate Rewards program. Offer valid on new applications received through 12/31/2021. This offer is only available to Fuel Rewards® members who go through the dedicated Effective Agents benefit website. Not valid with any other discount or promotion. Offer is non-transferrable. A reward balance of $2.00/gal will post to the member’s Fuel Rewards account within 30 days of home closure with Effective Agents. Savings of $1,000 based on $2.00/gal on 25 fill-ups. Redemption is limited to $2.00/gal per fill-up. Additional restrictions/conditions may apply. Limited to 20 gallons of fuel per purchase, per vehicle. Redeem Fuel Rewards savings with your Fuel Rewards card or member ID at participating Shell stations. Fuel Rewards savings are limited to 20 gallons of fuel per purchase per vehicle, or fraud limits placed by Shell and/or limits placed on your payment card by your financial institution, each of which may be lower. Dispenser may require a price of up to 10.9 cents per gallon. For purchases of $75 or more, please go inside to pay. Unbranded diesel and alternative fuels may not be eligible.
