We are delighted with the service we received from Ginny Gorman of Rhode Island Real Estate. We had lived in our home for 43 years and it was a very emotional and busy time. Ginny was both patient and considerate while working with us. She answered every question and concern promptly. She was very knowledgeable regarding necessary updates and repairs and was a tremendous help with the inspection process. Regarding pricing the house for sale, she kept us grounded and used common sense which is missing from some of the exorbitant pricing that is occurring lately in the market. As a result, our home was sold almost immediately at a more than fair price and she was extremely helpful with obtaining an apartment that met all of our needs. Her patience, expertise and kindness were greatly appreciated. She is beyond competent in the real estate business while demonstrating class and intelligence throughout the process.

Ginny alerted me of a home that was about to come on the market that fit my needs. I made an offer the day after it came on the market and I was in a purchase and sales agreement the following day. She was very knowledgeable and made sure both the sellers and myself were doing what was needed to have a successful, timely closing. I would absolutely recommend Ginny!

Ginny worked with me on the sale of both my former home and in the purchase of my new home. If I could give her a rating higher than five stars I would do it, because of the beyond excellent job that she did. Her great expertise enabled me to help me to deal with the difficult situation of the selling my home and then the purchasing of another one; in this case the problems were more magnified because my new home was in the process of being built, and I had deed complications with the home that I wanted to sell. Ginny has a highly impressive knowledge of the local market. Initially she provided me with and explained to me clearly and thoroughly a market analysis that helped me to list my home. She then continuously updated me on how that market was doing. With this help and her outstanding advice, I was able to sell my home within the short window time that I had. Her local knowledge also enabled me to hire a real estate attorney with whom she was familiar. This attorney very quickly helped me deal with a deed and lien problem with my old home. Ginny was masterful in all of the related processes. Her listing presentation was very clear, concise and thorough. When she finished it was also clear to me that I wanted her to list my home. In regard to the sale of my home, she provided a great deal of useful information about how I could prepare my home for showings. On the days or evenings on which she showed my home to prospective buyers, she arrived at least one half hour before the showing time, and fine tuned my home so that it looked its best. After a regular showing, or Open House, she would always call me to give me an update. Once she received offers on my home, she did a masterful job of working with me and the potential buyers to work out the best deal possible. Given that I had more than one buyer who was interested in my home, she met with me and provided a great chart which greatly facilitated my decision making in regard to the best family to whom I should sell my home. Ginny's expertise continued to help me during the inspection period of my home. Once again she left me updated and she brilliantly handled the negotiations with my buyer, when an inspector discovered a problem with my roof. Before the closing Ginny provided my attorney and me with all of the information that enabled this closing to go amazingly smooth. Her masterful expertise was also present on the purchase of my new home. She worked together very closely with the builder's representative, my lawyer and me so that I had a very thorough understanding of all details related to my new home. This close cooperation, which she fostered, continued right through the closing and beyond. She also arranged meetings between the builder's representative and me to help me to make important choices in regard to my home; and she followed-up after these meetings and at other times to see how my decision making was going. Since the closing on my new home, Ginny has contacted me at times to check on how things are going. As far as responsiveness, any time that I had a question or problem and contacted Ginny, her response was immediate, and this included on some beautiful summer Sunday mornings when I know that she had better things to to do than reply back to me. As I alluded to above, Ginny's negotiation skills are excellent. In regard to the sale of my home, I had more than one buyer who was interested in my home beyond my asking price. She met with me and provided an excellent chart which greatly facilitated my decision making in regard to the positive points about each of the potential buyer's offers. After the initial sales agreement was signed, the housing inspector found a problem with my roof. Ginny, who attended this inspection, worked with the buyers to keep the deal alive. She contacted me about this matter, and she came up with a great compromise an then she convinced the buyers to agree to it. To sum things up, Ginny is a real estate salesperson who takes a personal interest in her client. She displayed a mastery of the local real estate market, was masterful in regard to the real estate processes, was always immediate in her responses and was masterfully excellent with her negotiation skills. She was always providing details, clarifications, updates and reminders. As I have mentioned, even after I have closed on both my old home and my new one, she has checked back a number of times to see how things were going. She is the ultimate professional and the best part is that she truly wants to do the best for her clients. She merits five stars in all of the areas above.
