Joe is unbelievably amazing at his job! We just finished the process of buying a house with him and it could not have gone smoother. He always found time to be available when we needed him. He sought out great options, both on and off the active market. His knowledge was remarkable and impressive. I would recommend him over and over again!

The Mathes team was fantastic from start to finish. They only found/showed me properties that met my price/needs, and had flexible schedules to arrange walkthroughs. As a first time homebuyer, I had my fair share of questions, and they were able to answer them all with ease and expertise.

Steve and Joe Mathes are true real estate professionals! 1. Joe's JD was extremely valuable due to the complexity of the estate issues in the transaction he was assisting us with (we are out-of-state adult children who sold our parents' house in Ladue). 2. Every time Joe called to notify us of a potential problem, he also provided a list of solutions and he handled all the solutions personally and with remarkable timeliness. 3. Joe was unbelievably helpful getting bids, estimates, and necessary repairs completed for the most reasonable expense. As out-of-state residents, we simply could not have achieved this successful sale without Joe and Steve's help and network of roofers, contractors, etc. 4. Joe's negotiation skills were very adept; he knew when to push back and when to move forward. 5. We had tight time restraints and needed to prepare the property for sale in the off-season and Joe was able to get everything done despite the myriad of potential problems stemming from holidays, illnesses, etc. impacting contractor availability. There was really no problem that he couldn't solve. 6. Joe's perseverance also needs to be noted, he showed the house dozens of times (70+) and was able to find a buyer who saw the same value in the unique property that we did. We were very happy with the end result. 7. Not only was Joe very responsive, professional, and reassuring throughout the process, but he always had empathy for the difficulty of what our family was going through while selling this asset. We are extremely grateful to both Joe and Steve for their help selling this house and we could not imagine completing this transaction without them. Before this experience, I never thought real estate agents could really help people going through a difficult time, but Steve and Joe showed us what is possible in this industry. They are great people and they are amazing realtors. Any buyer or seller would be truly lucky to work with the Mathes Team!
